Ringer Reef Winery reviews
55Fabulous hosts, incredible views and delicious wines. Easily accessible by bike and car, don't ride past on the rail trail, pop up the road!
Ringer Reef is a lovely winery, great wine and Mark is a true gentleman with a great knowledge of his wine. A must do when in the area.
A fantastic winery with great views, but particularly hosts/owners Mark and Julie who made us feel so welcome! The wine tasting had a terrific range, and in the end we settled on a cracking bottle of sangiovese overlooking the picturesque vineyard. In the end we decided to buy a pack of 6 wines, but as we were on bikes, Mark and Julie delivered the bottles to where we were staying in Bright. Highly recommend this family business!
Highly recommend for a delicious, relaxing lunch in a magical setting with sensational views. Taste the wines first and choose a couple of bottles to go with the platters. The staff are so friendly, possibly the friendliest in the region!
A lovely little winery with beautiful mountain views. Staff are very knowledgeable and great to talk to.
My partner and I loved the views at this winery. We got a charcuterie board and enjoyed the views with a glass of rosé. Wonderful!
Wonderful winery to taste, share and learn. Thoroughly recommend a visit and perhaps a box of wine for another day.
My friend from Melbourne and myself decided to go to Ringer Reef on 14th may. We had a lovely welcome from Julie and very beautiful surrounds. We would recommend anyone passing through this area (north east victoria) porepunkah to stop and have a couple of glasses of beautiful wine Brenda and Ellie. X
Ringer Reef has continued to develop. Owners are friendly and wine and beers are amazing. We sat on supplied picnic rugs with a beautiful view of mt buffalo. The cheese platters were wonderful value for money and the ambience great. Ringer Reef has become a favourite winery of ours.
Nice place, owners and staff are very friendly and the wines are ok, but not quite at the same level as some of the other wineries in the area
This gem of a winery in Porepunkah near Bright, has such lovely wines produced by Bruce Holm the Winemaker, and Annie his wife who makes her own platters to enjoy with the wines. The views are to die for, and with such a welcoming environment to share, this is a great place to visit any time of the year.
A great small family run Winery that is happy to host visitors and take that extra time to share their wines and knowledge. Well done, much appreciated and we will return whenever in the area.
Love this small, beautiful, family owned winery. One of my favourite places in the Ovens Valley. The views are spectacular, the wine is good, the food is good and the people are so incredible welcoming and down to earth. It's a must next time you visit Bright, or Porepunkah in NE Victoria.
Owners are very helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. The wine is fantastic as well! Highly recommend the rose
Nice merlot from a small vineyard in the gully above Porpunkah. May have fought them on a bad day.
