Receptionists don't seem capable of answering phone calls, unless you are talking to them in person, in which case they will rudely take the phone call.

They also cannot say when or when not the nurse will be available.

Losing patience with this practice.

Always had a great experience here. Dr Hieu is fantastic and whenever they're running behind they make space for me if I ask. Highly recommended.

Dr Cindy is fantastic. I am a newish patient at this clinic and I have never been to a more caring and professional clinic ever. I have a quite complex medical condition that requires a lot of explaining, Dr Cindy is patient and compassionate which is such a welcomed relief whilst dealing with chronic issues!

I am so dissappointed and left feeling quite sad after visiting the practice today. I required a medical certificate for my employer aswell as to renew a script. Whilst telling my Dr this, she interrupted me to tell me 'I am overweight' this is based on BMI. I said okay, I can take care of this and she then proceeded to tell me that she recommended I consult a diet/nutrition coach? My appointment was not for weight related issues and I left today extremely upset.
I am pretty certain this is below board.

Dr Cuc (Cindy) Nguyen is super amazing, she is my family GP for 4 generation including my grandmom 99 years old, Mom in law, myseft and my little kids.she's truly a wonderful doctor, approachable, knowledgeable, has good bed side manner and really taking time listens and caring for her patients. My husband family side all go to her with their concerns. Dr Cindy really exceeding her outstanding and quality care in patients. I would greatly reommend Richmond General Medical Centre to everyone.

I've been seeing Dr. Nguyen for nearly a year to help with the management of an ongoing medical issue. The level of service I have received so far from the receptionist, nurse, and the doctor has been excellent. There has been many instances when I needed an urgent appointment and the practice was kind enough to fit me in at a time that was practical. I'd definitely recommend this practice.

Went in and was ushered in to a "nurse" who took my medical history and did all of the work before seeing the doctor. Was in the doctors room for 2 minutes before being told to go see another GP to get my prescription. I have PTSD and they said they don't have my medical records so they can't help me. 15 mins to drive there 15 mins in waiting room just to be told they couldn't update my prescription and to come back next week. Appears to be scamming Medicare with these "appointments". Awful

The medical is stunning and nice. The doctors are nice and caring. I dont have to wait hours for my appointments, and staffs are friendly. I would recommend my friends to the medical.

Absolutely fabulous clinic, lovely staff and kind doctors. Also love that it's bulk billed and you can even get an appointment within 24 hours! So very stoked with this medical centre.

I've been a patient of Dr Cuc Nguyen for a couple years now and find her to be very thorough and wait times are usually pretty good.

Honestly I came here for the bulk billing but will come again for the professional courtesy and care. Don’t take any note of those old reviews. Seriously shocked, because those bad reviews do not reflect the experience I had. Waited an hour ish for my appt, but that’s the nature of bulk billing and what inevitably happens when other patients rock up late. Receptionist was a bit distressed when one patient seemingly walked into the dr’s room cutting in before me but turns out it was the prior consult and had not yet finished - but I overheard her saying to other staff “oh no, now we have to keep the next patient waiting longer” even though it wasn’t her fault. I think that shows they do care! I saw Dr Cuc (Cindy) Nguyen and she really took the time to understand my symptoms without making me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed. The medicine she prescribed fixed me right up and man, it feels good to eat, sleep and breathe freely again. So it’s a strong recommendation from me!

I've been a patient of Dr. Cuc Nguyen for a while. She is a very compassionate and caring doctor. Always listens to my health concerns and treats appropriately. It's a good clinic, and the fact that they bulk bill is a bonus.

I went in to get a prescription renewal, there were 4 or 5 other people in the clinic at the time and the whole process took about 45 minutes. This was my first time in the clinic and I hadn't made an appointment. The staff were all friendly and kind to me, I was very pleasantly surprised by my experience considering the reviews.

Honestly I'm not sure where all these bad reviews are coming from. I had an appointment today at 11: 45 I was running a bit behind so I didnt get taken in till about 12: 15 ish but I saw Dr Cuc (Cindy) Nguyen and she was absolutely excellent. She listened to my symptoms provided me with a CT scan and a urine test and straight away made the diagnosis after the tests and the physical examination. She then focused on controlling my symptoms, she asked me about my pain and nausea and she started me on two new medications to help with these symptoms and thank you so much Dr because my pain is much better now and I'm not nauseous any more. Overall I found her very proffesional and knowledgable. I think what people have to understand is that the area this clinic is located is a location where alot of drug addicts and dishonest people hang out, so the doctors have to deal with them alot and sometimes I can understand that the doctors may get a bit tired of people like that coming in and making their job harder than it needs to be. I went in to see the doctor well dressed and was very polite and courteous as I feel that these doctors deserve alot of respect as they are operating a bulk billing clinic and are trying their best for patients. If you go in to see the doctor with a rude attitude and be disrespectful to them you should expect a rude response. Overall if you treat the doctor with respect you will be treated with respect also. Dr Nguyen was very knowledgeable and she explained everything to me. I will definitely be making her my family GP. Thank you doctor.

I called to make an appointment on Monday 15th of April, my gosh the lady on the other line was rude and very unfriendly. PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO HAVE A PLEASENT PHONE MANNER! I wouldn’t go there if you pay me.

Waited over an hour past appointment time only to be seen by the nurse, upon learning that I specifically needed the Doctor I was told to wait another 30 mins. When I finally got to see the "doc" she said she could not help me with my request of a med cert for a previously diagnosed condition, even with the paperwork I'd brought from that previous diagnosis. She didn't want to examine for prognosis or care in anyway for my health. Disgraceful

My mum needs a sick certificate to have some days off from work due to her health condition. The GP asked for $50 fee for the sick certificate on top of the bulk billed GP visit fee. This is unethical, unprofessional and corrupt practice. The GP even said that she has too many things to do, so the sick certificate will be done by a NURSE and that $50 is to pay her? ! As far as I concern, a NURSE can't issue a sick certificate. This medical centre takes advantage of people who do not speak English very well and do not know much about how health care system works. Shame of them! Please someone out there in the Health Department look into this!

Ran 45 minutes late, came in to get antibiotics for a UTI I have had before- was told I had a sexually transmitted infection, and prescribed antibiotics for such, despite me protesting that I had ruled that out from previous tests etc. Doctor insisted on doing a PAP smear, which left me feeling upset and confused. Very unprofessional. I waited for the test results to come back before getting the prescription, and thus suffered the symptoms of my UTI for a few more days. Sure enough when the results came back, it was negative for the STI, as I knew it would be. Falsely diagnosed, bullied and demeaned. DO NOT GO HERE. I dare say it would've been a different experience if I was of Asian descent. (receptionist was v.rude too)

The worst medical experience I have ever had in my life. The doctor didn't even know how to speak English and was completely unprofessional. The clinic was absolutely hostile and dirty. Please do yourself a favour and go somewhere else!

Booked an appointment for 5.20pm. It's 7.05pm and I'm still in the waiting room. Disgusting. Don't come here.
