15 Happy to find this lovely gem of a resturant. Food was delicious and staff were all lovely.
Thank you for the lovely meal.
The food here is honestly so good! I haven’t had such good South Indian food in a long time, it’s not always easy finding a good Indian restaurant in Melbourne. This place is lovely, with a few more patrons the vibe/atmosphere will grow. It’s a family owned business and everyone is super friendly and accommodating.
Omg! Really amazing food. Saturday lunch buffet has a great selection and varieties. Definitely going back. Authentic tasty food
Don’t expect anything like menu pictures… not worthy.one time ok… Tried Chatti Choruu but no enough side dishes.
We loved our experience and food at RiceNGrill. The food is absolutely amazing and took us back to Kerala. We ordered Kizhi porotta, kappa meen, egg puffs and egg gravy with Kerala porotta. The service was impeccable and ‘Shalini’ ensured that our request to include egg curry was honoured. My husband doesn’t eat meat and I had called up a day ahead to check if they could serve egg. We were so happy that they took care of our request. Would recommend this fantastic Kerala restaurant to all my friends and anyone looking to enjoy authentic kerala cuisine. You won’t be disappointed and you are sure to take a trip down memory lane. I must add the songs playing in the background was such a beautiful collection that made me feel nostalgic
First visit, first impressions were good, had the buffet lunch, food should be kept warm, food was very tasty and well cooked in the traditional style, loved it
Great place to have authentic Kerala cuisine. There are very few places in Melbourne offering this cuisine.
The food is so authentic and spot on hitting the right notes. The beef fry, chatto choru and chatti porotta are out of the world. The waiting times are quite long at the moment so be prepared to spend some time.
It's a small place. But good food.
We only tried a couple of dishes.
Chatti choru and Chatti parotta.
Street Parking is free on weekends.
They have parking in the back, and toilet at the back.
No frills here & neither do they claim to be fancy. Friendly, courteous folks and simple, authentic, home style food. We took away chicken biryani, chatti kappa, chicken puffs and parippu vada. The food took us back to Kerala for a moment! Well done to Santosh & his team.
Amazing Kerala food. Tried palporotta & beef fry, Chatti choru both were so delicious and yummy. This place has got into my list of favourites. I would love to recommend this place to anyone who wants to try the Malayalee delicacies.
Had chicken biriyani and beef cutlet for lunch on a Friday.
Would definitely recommend the Beef cutlet!
Massive shout out to the people who run this Place, the taste is authentic and feels like home made
Delicious food. You have to wait a bit. Hopefully, they are expanding their business to a new spacious location.
Home away from home. Best Kerala dishes with all the love from home. Must must try and have them catered for function.
