RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. My experience here was horrible. I ordered chicken katsu curry. I was given chicken katsu.i did not notice at first but i realized later on that it was not the thing i ordered. I returned the meal, the staff asked me if they can just give the curry on the side. I said no because it would be different. After giving me the meal, one of the staff told me to check my order before taking it. I said its not my fault or mistake in the first place. What a very RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE.plus, I did not receive any apology.

Reminds me of my travel in Japan. I get to taste authentic upon again. Best of all it's affordable

Ramen was OK but extremely average, it is exactly what you'd expect from a $13 food court dish and nothing more.

Service was I said my order and they got it wrong and then refused to make it right and said I had to pay extra for it… honestly if you have made a mistake you fix it, that’s what good customer service is, this is honestly worth 0.0/10 stars

I tried rice workshop in different locations, so far this location is my least favourite.

I was excited to try my chicken curry in a while. However, there wasn't much curry. I ended up eating white rice with chicken.

• Incorrect Order: When I ordered, I chose 'hot' option.it didn't taste hot, spicy at all.

• Lack of flavour taste: The curry tasted like it was quickly made rather than having the actual flavour and taste like the one I tasted in other locations.

• Miscommunication: Also there was a person in front of me who was upset because her order got mixed up (it didn't seem like the staff p

• Perhaps I visited at a wrong time: The vibe was awkward & chaotic. Food wasn't tasty.

Since I have moved from NZ to Melbourne it took me a while to find a good japense food jain until now. Me and my husband love Rice Workshop our favorite dishes are spicy japense karaage with japense curry and spicy miso garlic chicken karaage. Rice workshop is located in the food court of northland but if you don't feel like going to northland we'll then Rice Workshop is on uber eats

I had the Teriyaki Chicken rice bowl and it was amazing. The chicken was cooked well, the sauce was tasty, and the rice was also perfectly cooked. Nothing felt under cooked or raw and the portion size was also perfect

This is third time this happened to me. Ordered fried chicken but got the chicken with too much bad smell which is clearly not fresh. Please avoid this.

Got 8 pieces of fried chicken and the oil they used was dirty and the chicken tasted yuk. Had to throw away.

Ordered the rice katsu bowl after it was recommend to me. Price was great for the size, it was tasty and had the perfect amount of everything! I’d come back

Ordered 3 serves of dumplings via Deliveroo and received only 1. Do not pick up their phone! Not good enough on a Friday night!

I had the Katsu curry bowl which was ok, I asked for it "hot" and it was but I think they just sprinkled some cayenne chilli over-the-top.

Well this place doesn’t disappoint, for a food court based shop it’s a must try. Prices are good and the food is worth a try.

As good as rice workshop stores come. Never had bad food from here and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Udon curry with tempura prawns or pork Katsu is the best so addicting both have the perfect crunch and the curry is so tasty an the udon is perfect

Their vege-pancakes are amazing. And cheap too. I never miss to have one when I go to Northland Shopping Centre.
