The food is very low quality. Waffle ice cream cone is soggy. Overall, not worth the money

Looks like the beef has been overcooked for a century. I had the signature beef rice combo with an egg on top, the egg yolk is frozen, not flowing. The beef is as dry as a bamboo. Not recommended.

The curry chicken was so bad. Taste like boiled overnight chicken! I had similar thing in their city store before, it was okay but the store in chaddy have this worst food ever. Don’t go and don’t waste your time and money plz!

One of the few places where the meals actually look exactly as advertised. More importantly though, the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly and fast.

The prices are high but if you're after a quick, high quality Japanese meal while shopping, I highly recommend Rice Workshop.

Should have look at review found out some review have a same problem, chargrill looks like boil chicken for me and taste like overnight chicken. The chef or the owner is really lazy to grill it early morning? The shop is not even busy. Yuck

If they are going to start charging surcharge for Sunday it should be on the board and not a small print out. Bought it unaware of the surcharge.

Love the vegetable croquettes! They are my main reason for going to the rice workshop. I also recommend the vegetable pancakes but you must get the sauce with them as it makes it 100 times better. The quality of the food is generally consistent though the customer service is nothing special. The food is relatively cheap, however, they do charge surcharges on Sundays and public holidays (something they hadn't done in previous years). Overall, pretty good.

I ordered charcoal chicken on curry rice，what i got is boiled chicken on curry rice，it looks like boiled chicken and tasted like boiled chicken.

Used to love workshop a couple years back but now it’s nothing but disappointing. You can tell they’re on a budget for what you get

Best chicken katsu curry, ordered the large and the portion was huge. Very friendly service and patient.

Had chicken kastsu with tonkotsu ramen, all I can say is I'm full but far from satisfied, I'd rather have not spent the money. Very bland, chicken was of bad cuts and tasteless, disappointed.

The take order was delivered to the client well before esta. Yet my earnings were not paid. I was left in tears after spending money on fuel, my time and efforts.

Good place, taste is good but for people like me who has Indian food habits, it tastes ok with sea food especially crab and octopus balls feel like raw meat deep fried. But the vegetable pancake is 5 out of 5 and I think everyone will like it

I'm a vegetarian, I ordered vegetable crockett but got crab instead. Almost threw up, my stomach feels upset - this is extremely NOT ok. Ordered 2 rice bowls, only got one. How deaf do you need to be?

I ordered the Teriyaki Udon from Rice Workshop for lunch the other day. It was very delicious and honestly tasted very similar to authentic Japanese Udon, so I was very pleased with the flavours and customer service. Thank you to Rice Workshop in Chadstone, you guys always provide good food!

Ordered for ORIGINAL BEEF CURRY with extra curry, but found out they ordered GRILL CHICKEN CURRY with extra curry for me when I got home. Don’t know how they got this wrong with the words totally different in sounding and couldn’t find a phone number to call. Also, there is no enough flavor in the chicken and curry. Very bad experience, not recommend for visiting.

The chicken karaage is great! Will definitely have it again. The customer service is very good too!

Not bad. Flavours are nice. What you see pictured are the "large" serves for an additional fee.

Not a pleasant experience, no gravy in the rice. Box Hill rice workshop is much better than this.

Worst ever. Spicy pork and Salmon are not fresh at all. They taste and smell bad. Would never go back and recommend to anybody.
