11 Asked for a piece of Fruit Toast well toasted after it had been under rhe grill for about half a minute they were pulling it out and going to butter it and give it to me.l asked then to toast it more and realised that it was the crust. Smaller than all the other pieces yet still charged me the full price of $4.50.when questioned the staff they smirked laughed or did not care. Extremely poor or should l say no customer service. They offered to cook another piece l could
not afford another 10 minutes l had to get back to the office. Never going there again. Tourists be warned
Rude staff and very expensive for poor quality. $4 for a half piece of fruit toast. Coffee is barely drinkable.
Yummy mushroom zaatars!
Sometimes come here just for the mushroom zaatar! Really tasty filling with nice crispy but not dry flatbread. Dunno about the other things but this one's a winner.
Mate if you don't know how to make a cap coffee.dont try pass it off as a latte and a left over from a cancelled order. If your despair the $4.50, I'll Give you $9.00 to help out.
Terrible.
Quite possibly the worst coffee I've ordered anywhere in the world. Guy making it shouldn't be in hospitality. Didn't really care when I took it back. Monday 9th March 2020,10: 30am.
Had a great time at Rhumba's. There are many incredible options and definitely something for everyone! The great buzzing atmosphere of people enjoying food and drinks. There are limited seats so you might need to walk around for a while to find a table and chairs. But overall, its a nice place for foodies!
Want a quick and easy meal when along South Bank in Melbourne.
They offer a very wide range of goods at reasonable prices.
Gf had bad food poisoning. (13th October 2019) First time being there, she bought a lamb souvlaki. Ate at about 3pm and she started throwing up about 2am (12+hours later). It was her only meal for the day, she doesn't eat much. She threw up multiple times, all the way to now 11am (14th Oct). She's still not well and she's panting from exhaustion but we don't think she needs to be hospitalized. I'm sure the place is reputable but please ask how long their food has been on display!
Really good selection and fresh healthy take away. The prices are responsible for city prices. Good stop over for lunch.
This was a violently abusive assault on my taste buds that could be classified as both a crime against humanity and illegal biological engineering. While being soggier than a drowned starfish and a taste best compared with, while being more stale than the, this zaatar has already begun exiting my body looking remarkably similar to its appearance at entry. If I wanted to pay $11.50 to be violated end to end I would just have picked, though the cramps and occasional mutations caused by are far preferred to the cirque du Soleil style acrobatics internally performing inside of me right now. That was a bad call Ripley, that was a bad call.
Well, yesterday I arrived in Melbourne and this is the second meal I have had here. And, Rhumbas is awful, quite frankly. I ordered fish and chips for $11.90. That's fairly expensive since Fish and Chix in Sydney makes it for $3 less. Well, if it tastes better than Fish and Chix, which, by the way, is absolutely amazing, then that price can be justified.
The pre-prepared food came very quickly. But they had one job, and failed miserably. By which I mean, they had done almost everything wrong. The serving was tiny, the lemon was applied in excess, the taste was awful, it was way overdone it, it wasn't crisp, and, to top it off, tasted so bland I'd rather eat nothing. But the chips were great.
Overall, I can't judge this place from one meal. But, whatever you do, for the love of God, DO NOT buy their fish and chips.
