Although service department were friendly, still did not get to the bottom of ongoing issues with DPF warnings and vehicle going into limp mode.
Twice I’ve tried to get looked at at VW, with no assistance, other than the obligatory, book it in and wait 8-10 weeks. For a car that’s almost worth 100k, they should offer better warranty options.
Even provided them with a report from another mechanic, stating that the issue is the DPF. Could not assist, as they couldn’t find the fault.
I would have thought the detailed report would be enough detail to know it’s an ongoing concern.

Very happy with my service but it’s a bit inconvenient that you have to book 6 weeks out. When you pre-pay services for a new car, they want you to have it done at exactly 15/30/45/60, booking so far in advance makes it hard.

I was welcomed and directed to a cosy waiting area - staff were so helpful and friendly…. The whole process was efficient and I was very impressed! They even cleaned my car! Much appreciated!

I have had several experiences at Rex Gorell VW over the past year and none have been positive. It seems Rex Gorell do their best to avoid covering anything under warranty, and do it with some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Would most definitely not recommend. I had to return due to purchasing my van through Rex Gorell VW, but I hope to have no reason to return again.

Service was carried out professionally and in a clean environment and even managed to find a cheaper battery that needed replacement. Well done

My GTI Golf went into Rex Gorell Volkswagen & they diagnosed the problem in half a day. From start to finish they provided a professional service & outstanding customer care. They charged me $185 per hour & were worth every single cent. If you’ve got a gremlin in your car & want to get to the bottom of it, book it in with these guys.
