Reverie Cafe, Prahran reviews
44 Booked for the high tea.
Not greatly enamoured with the salmon sliders but the rest was good.
Went there 3-4 times. No doubt their cakes are always nice there. However, this time, I purchased a cake for a gift to someone, and the staff packed the cake with a generic cake box instead of their branded box. I found it was very weird. Because there were so many of those branded boxes lying in the fridge and shelves, and the staff said they couldn't use it.
I had a simple ham and cheese omelette and it was just perfect! My favourite part was the real chocolate flakes on my almond cappuccino! Really lovely breakfast. The place was also nice and warm on this winter day!
The pastries were simply incredible and the service was so friendly and accommodating. The croissants were made to perfection; the colour had a vibrant golden brown colour and the aroma was rich, it also had a good flaky crust. The atmosphere was bustling however it is understandable due to it being rush hour. The timing that our orders came out was at a steady pace and was completely acceptable. We will for sure come back here again!
Came in for a coffee this morning and everything seemed to smack of confusion with a total lack of professionalism. Despite being told to sit at a table, we received no table service and ordered at the front after several minutes of confused waiting. Then we waited for a long time while watching a group of people fumble around the coffee machine. Our expectations were already low at this point, but what we received was a watery brown milk with absolutely no taste or flavour. Most of the flat white served to my partner had been spilt on the saucer before reaching out table. Would not recommend. The milky mess made us feel ill on top of the already terrible experience.
Such a beautiful friendly atmosphere wonderful staff amazing food
Absolutely perfect high tea and did I mention the best coffee
Thank you so much
Thank you so much for an amazing day filled with a wide selection of food and cakes. Everything was just spectacular, including the friendly staff with the chic and family-friendly/dog-friendly atmosphere. The portions were generous and we did not have to wait for long for our food to arrive. Our breakfast and cakes were just decadent and so indulgent. Will definitely come back again, especially after a Saturday sports run with very hungry children!
Kind service, lovely coffee! Eat in area is spacious. Take away was 15 minutes for a Coffee and toasted chicken and mayo. It was all freshly made and very tasty!
Family friendly!
Where you will find me when I want a heavenly dessert fix! Also love their blueberry cheese danish. Customer service is always amazing too.
A must visit for any high tea lover? I was amazed by the quality and taste of the food. Everything was freshly made and delicious Their high tea cost only $55 super filling for the value.
Hosted a high tea for a friends baby shower at Reverie and couldn’t recommend it more. Food was delicious and the staff were super lovely and accomodating.
Mindblown! The desserts were an absolute delight! Definitely not just another dessert cafe with pretty cakes, but of great quality and taste. Their desserts have also won plenty of awards so you know it’s not just for show.
Personally I love the hazelnut cake, lemon tart and Black Forest! Worth every bite!
Pre Ordered a cake for Xmas, decided to have a coffee and cake when I collected.
Staff were both so rude I actually laughed, I could not quite understand the attitude problem!
One staff member was nice, other two were very unusual, stroppy and un welcoming.
I won’t bother going back, so many other nice places with good service out there.
Having high tea at the Reverie Cafe in Prahran was an amazing experience, the food being delicious with choices in savoury and sweet. The vibe was fantastic and cafe was clean and welcoming. Dietary requirements are taken care of very well.
Rare I will rate a place so highly. Super friendly staff, great products. Awesome location. Would very much recommend.
Really fantastic food, great atmosphere, happy and professional staff. This is the example which all cafés should follow. I highly recommend the eggs benedict.second to none!
Today we dined at Reverie cafe in Prahran and indulged in the high tea!
It was absolutely sensational, every single item, sweet and savoury were delicious, fresh, prepared with only the best ingredients and were made with love!
Pierrick came over and took the time to introduce himself, made sure we were happy and satisfied with everything!
Reverie is easily my new favourite spot for high tea, the quality, quantity and value was perfect. We will be back for sure!
Wonderful catch up with friends at Reverie Cafe today - we had the high tea and were very impressed with the petit fours, scones and savoury items presented. Lovely to meet chef and owner Pierrick Boyer - staff were very attentive and made our day special. Will definitely recommend to others.
I’ve been visiting Chef Pierrick Boyers venues for many years and so nice to visit his new Reverie Cafe in Prahran. They now offer high tea with an assortment of savoury and sweet cakes and let’s not forget the freshly baked scones with cream and jam! Perfect place to spend the afternoon with your girlfriends!
Delicious food and the coffee is top notch! Loved it!
Well worth visiting!
Thank you Pierrick and team!
