Really rude staff member, absolutely no manners or emotion to her, had the worst tone and just overall rude.was helping me try on rings, really wanted to buy one but her vibe was just hard to bare and i couldn’t stand to be in the shop anymore, really wanted to buy that ring never coming back terrible vibes from everyone

Great selection and friendly staff! There is a mask policy (in line with government advice) but I witnessed someone who was unable to wear a mask due to a medical exemption being dealt with compassionately and with complete understanding by the staff - they were asked to wear a mask and as soon as they mentioned they were unable to wear one due to medical reasons there were no further issues. Well done on managing to balance being socially responsible with empathy and understanding in these difficult times!

Staff member got nasty towards me and indirectly accused me of lying when I said I can't wear a mask due to my (invisible) disability. I offered to show my doctor's note, which the staff member refused to see and I was pestered and questioned about what issues I have. I understand It's protocol but I'd rather just be asked to leave.

I don't feel comfortable supporting an ableist company.

Was pretty overpriced for items that i later found out are not vintage, and are definatley not produced in a sustainable way. $30 for a cheap shirt and up to $100 for a pair of pants.they were selling dirty shoes for far too much aswell.staff were anti social and didnt interact with any customers and didnt listen when i said i didnt need a bag.dont waste your time here.

Good service, affordable and even threw in some candy alongside my purchase. Thank you to Ryan for resending me tracking information after I'd lost it. No complaints at all.

Stunning retail shop with a huge choice in Retro clothes and accessories, it is easy to let yourself an hour to browse everything. Each piece is unique, affordable and vintage. Sun glasses and earrings are my favourites in this shop. So many colours!
Amazing! Highly recommended

You can find much more at the local vinnies, salvos and savers. Most of the stuff were old touristy t-shirts like I love NY or american football and not much variation. Don't expect it to have cool vintage pieces like their city store because it seems like this warehouse is mostly reject clothing not even OP shops want but check it out if you're in the area.

Somewhat overpriced 'vintage' clothing. A bit of the dresses, playsuits and skirts seem to be modernised aka cut shorter, but poorly done with wonky hemlines and exposed thread. Still, a good place to browse or grab a graphic t-shirt.

I have been meaning to do this review for a while now. These guys are amazing. I have met them a few times and always energetic and happy. The Service they provide is second to no one! I order a shirt online for a present and asked for a favor for me and they remembered me from a long time ago and were more than happy to help. Old school service.thanks heaps my sister in law loved it.

Felt like I had stepped back in time with the decor and products on sale. The lighting made my photos come up an odd color (?). It was an interesting place to visit. I couldn't see any bargains though.

Not really worth stopping by, unless you're on your way to an American School Soccer Coach themed party in which case this is THE place

4 for the friendly staff. The clothes and things were way to American for me. I didn't think much was vintage or retro. All 'I love NY' or 'Chicago ' tee shirts. And American football stuff. I did buy a flanny shirt. Wouldn't drive another 3 hours to get there again. That's my opinion I did see others leaving with bags full of stuff

Love this store. Always find great clothes just a bit on the expensive side (definitely not a thrift store)

I love the Nicolas Building anyway, but add in the Aladdins Cave of Retro Star Vintage. It's on the first floor, easily accessible, and stunning on first visit to see such a large space, packed with exciting multi era clothing. It's so tempting with its depth in any style of garment.

Bought a $17 bag from here, didn’t check inside until I got home and found the original price tag from a family store for $2.99

I loved the warehouse sale! As someone who is into many style eras, from 1940s-1970s, I was very impressed with the range of styles RetroStar has to offer. Also, as someone with a small frame who struggles to find clothes such as skirts that properly and comfortably fit my waist, I was pleasantly surprised with the smaller sizes Iame across, and actually found around 6 skirts that fit me perfectly, which is a rarity for me, so I definitely recommend anyone with a smaller frame to try RetroStar if they are struggling with finding their size in vintage stores. The layout was excellent and very spacious. The only downside to the warehouse sales for me is the dressing rooms. There are no individual dressing rooms, only 1 women's and 1 men's room, and the entrances are wide open. My suggestion would be to create makeshift individual change rooms, within the larger change rooms, for those who are uncomfortable with getting changed around other people but would like to try on the clothes that they've found. Other than that, the warehouse sales are excellent and have such a great variety of styles and items, and it's all under $10!
