Rest House Float Centre

Relaxation on another level! I had never tried float before and I’m so glad that I did. It was an hour of blissful calm and rejuvenation. I am 6 months pregnant and have been feeling stiff and achy and a one hour float was exactly what I needed. I also used the compression socks which felt like a wonderful massage and has completely cured the calf cramps I’ve been getting overnight. The staff are wonderful, and there are nice touches like free delicious tea. There is also a sauna and massage which I am booking in for next. I highly recommend this business!

The whole experience there is wonderful and calming considering it's next to busy roads.you don't notice at all!

Amazing place. It has dramatically improved my recovery. I use whoop to track my heart rate variability. After one month of consistent floats, I saw dramatic improvements. The staff are lovely, the place is always immaculate. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Had my first ever float. Very relaxing. Rest house has a lovely relaxing set up. Teas, filtered water. Nice and calming. Very clean. Was able to have my shower and wash my hair afterwards, there were hair dryers and face moisturiser to use. Will come again.

I leave with a sense of caIm, the ambience is something else! There are so many reasons to keep returning as they have so many services available under one roof; float tanks, sauna, massage and compression therapy and all the amenities too; a great facility!

Great first experience, very relaxing and great staff and facilities. I found it hard to get out of my own head and fully relax but ended up drifting off close to the end. Will definitely be back to give it another go!

This is my favourite one stop shop for all things relaxation. The team at Rest house is always welcoming and friendly which makes the experience even better. The new additions such as massage, infrared sauna and compression therapy are a busy mums dream. It's my favourite quiet place away from the crazy day to day grind. Highly recommend!

Never Again!
I had the worst massage I could have asked. It was more a tighten up massage than a relax one. I asked the lady to be focus on my shoulder/neck/back and one of my leg. She gets focus on my shoulders and it was very painful how she massaged it. Basically the pinched my shoulder and press were all the pain was - it is painful and not relaxing. She did not spend much time on the rest of my back which was the main request for me. She then “massaged” my legs, but again not really a massage, there were no gentle. With her elbow, she is pressing on my body, which is create more pain than relaxing. My body was constantly contracting. I did not relax at all and get out with more pain than I entered the place. I write it down this today, because I woke up with a lot of pain and my body feel like I did sports for hours. All the area she “massaged” are painful. However I also did the floating session, and it was a good experience, very relaxing, welcoming.

Just came in for a massage, Carla the masseuse really know what’s she doing. Very relaxing and will 100% be coming back. Really relaxing and my body feels great! 10/10

I have been here a couple times and Carla gives amazing massages and holds a safe emotional space for me each time I've been. She allows me to process my feelings as she works away at my body tension and I really value this addition to the massage. I highly recommend a massage with Carla as well as a float or sauna. It is extremely wholesome and I always leave feeling nourished and cared for!

An incredible relaxing time in the floatation tank and infra red sauna! This place is incredible and the staff are so professional. Deep tissue took all my aches from weekend sport away! A must go to place for an afternoon.

Couldn't recommend Carla enough! She is the new massage therapist at Rest House and really knows her stuff. Very versatile in massage techniques and the combination of the massage and float was so very relaxing and rejuvenating!

Must get a massage from Carla! She does it with the perfect flow and pressure and finds all the little niggles and kneads them out. Walking out afterwards felt like I was floating (no pun intended). Will definitely be back again.
