Don’t waste your time buying paint from this store. These people are useless. Twice I’ve had paint ordered at this store to collect and both times I go to collect it and they have no idea what I’m talking about. If your taking a telephone order and telling someone you’ll have the paint ready when they collect it a day or two later like they said they will, how do you not know about the paint order. Do you write customers orders on toilet paper

Just a quick thank you to Armandie for helping out when I recently needed paint advice. I am spectacularly dumb when it comes to choosing colours. I have probably. 30 testpots to prove my cluelessness over the years.

Armandie has a vast wealth of knowledge, know-how and a million suggestions. She sent sample cards out and photo shopped my house with different paint options. Nothing is too much trouble. Def my first choice for advice.

I see I’m not the only person that has problems with this store. If this many people are complaining about the service, you should fix the problem and train your staff to do their job properly. I didn’t realise it would be so hard to be told a product and colour and you make it

The lady at this store is hopeless. My boss ordered paint through her for us to collect and when I rocked up the next day to collect it she had no idea what paint I was there to collect. Then ended up giving us the wrong paint after I told her what it was my boss ordered. Don’t you know how to take notes and read a label on a paint tin.

My last two experiences at this store have been very disappointing. The lady that works in this store is useless to put it nicely. The first time I ordered two drums of paint in advance, she advised at the time one of the products wasn’t in stock but they were expecting a delivery within the next day. I said that’s fine, I’ll get it picked up in a couple days, she said she would call me if it doesn’t arrive so I can organise to collect the paints when they are all there. I heard nothing so I sent my worker to collect the paint. When he went to collect the paint she said the one that wasn’t in stock still hasn’t arrived. I asked her why she didn’t call and she just said they don’t know how long deliveries are going to take because of COVID. I said that’s fair enough, but you said you would call if it didn’t arrive.
The second time I ordered paint in advance for a job in castlemaine I was sending workers to. I told her my worker would collect it the next day. She said that’s fine I’ll have it made and get him to call when he arrives as the shop isn’t open to customers and they’ll take it out to him. He arrives at the store and she doesn’t know what paint was ordered. So he calls me and I tell him tell her I called yesterday gave my business name and the colour it was. She for some unbeknown reason makes up a completely different colour I used on a previous job that was not asked for. My worker didn’t realise this until he opened the paint in castlemaine, a long way from huntingdale. I don’t know where you found this woman or how she has a job at this store, but she is not doing your business any favours when she can’t complete a simple task.
I spoke with the store manager about the two instances and he handled the situation well and advised me that the staff member had been spoken to. He also offered a refund for the wrong colour paint I was given.

Disgusting service.i had called them for a order i organised a day earlier.the lady said she had no idea about the order and said she will get onto it.after waiting 15minutes in the Carpark i called back to see what was happening with my order and was told that they hadn't even started dealing with it and were waiting for a payment.which i was going to make as i was there waiting for them in the parking lot and they knew this wasted my time and were blunt and rude.

I highly recommend visiting Resene Paints in Huntingdale if you're after knowledgeable advice to complete your project.
Special thanks to Armandie who was so patient and helpful, especially since I was throwing her several unusual curve balls!
The paints I purchased have been easy to work with and provided great coverage.
The prices were quite reasonable and I much prefer working with these products over many of the other premium brands out there.
Thanks again for helping me turn what was in my head into a reality!

Excellent customer service from Nick and the Resene white board paint was absolutely brilliant to apply with a fantastic outcome for my fussy corporate clients. Ten stars if I could.
