Normally have a good experience but after today I might make Ferntree gully my main store, I went into the store for an item that needs to be accessed by a staff member, I was the only customer in the store, 1 guy was on the phone which is fine, another looked like he finished his shift.fine also, but there were 3 other staff, two of which thought it was more important to chat about employee benefits and sales targets than serve a lone customer who was clearly standing at the info desk, I probably waited 5 mins. I know this isn't ages but I was close to just leaving as I felt their little "chit chat" was better than actually serving customers. I work in the hospitality industry, Imagine if you were waiting at the front door to be seated and myself and another wait staff decided to have a casual convo infont of you for 5 mins

I visited this establishment today the second time, hoping for a better experience than my previous visit. Unfortunately, the young man who always seems to be at the front desk, who wears glasses, provided the same disappointing customer service that left me with no desire to return.

Several months had passed since my first visit, and I decided to give this place another chance due to its convenience. However, to my dismay, the same young man was there, and his attitude remained unchanged. This encounter only reinforced my decision to avoid this establishment in the future.

As someone with limited knowledge about cars, I rely on the expertise of professionals when seeking advice. So, when I posed a question to the young man, who clearly works in a shop catering to cars, I expected a helpful response. Instead, he answered my question in a condescending manner, which was both unexpected and uncalled for. It was only when I pointed out his disrespectful behaviour that he attempted to improve his service approach.

However, I believe that respect and empathy should be given by default rather than having to assert my right to receive them. Consequently, I chose not to make a purchase and went elsewhere to find what I needed.

Based on my experiences, I can confidently say that I will not be returning to this establishment. The lack of respectful and empathetic customer service, particularly from the young man at the front desk, has left me with a negative impression. I would advise others to seek alternative options when in need of similar products or services and from what I see of other reviews, I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Repco has a lot of spare parts & accessories for most vehicle's & bikes,
But oil is very expensive now $ $ $, but it can be so easy to spend more than u expected.

Sold my friend the wrong petrol container even though she showed them the exact product photo and details of the 10 litre one from the Repco website that I wanted. Now I have an unsuitable and weird 6+2 litre container that my friend filled with 6 litres of petrol on her way home. Very disappointing.

Friendly staff, had more stock than I thought! Showed the shop assistant a picture of what I needed and 30 seconds later I was on my way. Speedy service.

Good luck finding staff 20 minutes today could see any staff put items down and left this store is the worst store for staff issues last year they had staff but were rude and clueless never going back to this store there’s a super cheap and auto barn just up the road on the right much better service

In store today buying a car battery with my daughter. We were served by a young man who had absolutely zero customer service skills or manners for that matter. Definitely will not be going back there.

Avoid this store at all cost, female staff took 30 minutes for click and collect, obviously they either don't know what they are doing or just don't care at all.

Shocking service was put on hold for 10 minutes then to be picked up by another person to be put on hold again for another 10mins then the lady who I dealt with has no clue what she is doing and was really rude so I got the part number and rang supercheap and got it from there wont be going near repco again!

Went to Repco Bayswater today to purchase a number of items. Service was excellent with the young bloke spending some time with me explaining features of various options. Excellent, competent and friendly service

Very happy with the speed of click & collect order placement to availability of pickup.
In-store seemed to be a case of having three staff on but a wait time that didn't match for the 2 or 3 customers in store.

You'd think after working at repco for nearly 20 years you'd understand a thing or two about head unit installations as it's products you sell.

The staff here (or at least the one that served me) require customer service training and should be thankful that they have jobs unlike so many people at the moment. Couldn't believe the sour attitude of the lady when I collected my click and collect order today. Will go back to shopping at supercheap auto where they appreciate their customers.

Went into Repco today looking for a roof rack, i asked them for assistance and just got palmed off to someone else whilst the 2 staff members continued their non work related conversation, when i was done shopping there was no one to serve us even after we made our presence there known, after finding a staff member and being rudely told they would come over, I was greeted with an extremely rude face gesture and comment which after receiving i put my items down and left the store empty handed, would not recommend this store at all, there was 3 females there, all of which were rude

Not helpful at all and very rude customer service.
I visited Bayswater store to get an exchange for one of the items I bought from them. Repco website says "If you are unable to provide proof of purchase, we may still offer a credit in the form of a gift card or provide an exchange for a similar product. "

The lady at the counter (Louise) was so offensive and threatened me when I mentioned about the website return policy and told I will not allow in store in future. Also she refused to transfer my call to her manager and simply just hung up on me.

She was very aggressive. Not professional at all. Finally I had to tell her to calm down. Zero politeness. Unbelievable!

She said website is wrong. Either repco needs to fix their website (if they do not allow exchange without receipt) or educate their team members.

Normally I buy stuff either from repco or Superchaep auto. Never had similar experience with supercheap auto or any other Australian retailer.

****UPDATE ****
I managed to call store manager Andrew. He solved my issue within seconds. Polite and helpful. Totally opposite to what I experienced yesterday.
I would recommend to contact store manager if someone experience similar problems. You need to call someone who has authority!
