Got my Pixel 6 Pro Screen replaced 4 months ago and today it stopped working conveniently just after the 90 day express warranty. Guy in the store refused to help.

You have been reported to ACCC and I am applying to VCAT to give you notice.

Although replacing a screen on your Mobile phone can be a touch costly, the information we all have saved on our Mobile's these day's is well worth the money.

Walked in - the team were happy to help me straight away! Within 2 hours they said my phone was ready fixed and working!

Thank you!

Fantastic service from Nick and Ankit, who's follow ups were totally on the ball.
The job, which no other repairs shop or even the supplier was interested or bothered to do, was performed fast and efficiently
My being located in Sydney wasn't an issue and I would highly recommend Repair Mate.
Thank you very much.

Very happy with this business in CBD Melbourne. Heads up it was a little tricky for me to find. Once I realised it was inside an office building, it was easy.
I chatted online to a very helpful informative person before then visiting the CBD Melbourne branch where I was met by Nikesh. Another friendly, informative helpful person. My problem was a smashed motorola one vision phone. I had the parts already so Nikesh was able to fix immediately while I went shopping. I received an email and sms a short time later and it was all done ready to be picked up. These phones are not easy to work on but I feel the honesty and professional service given to me from this company and Nekish gave me the confidence to trust them. The labour is under warranty for 90 days and I was reassured once again. Thank you, my husband is very happy also to have his phone repaired for a very reasonable price too. Highly recommend this business.

I replaced screen of my poco F1 in 10 screen is blurred then they replace the screen it is broken not working third time they replace the screen & damage the mother board know I am not able to make call the phone is completely damaged the money I spent for replacement is worthless. For just screen I had visited more than 5 times & completely damaged my phone & say it is not our fault before the screen replacement phone was working fine.
Not prefer anyone as they are not professional & blaming me for this how can I damage the mother board of the phone.only screen was problem & know the mobile is completely useless. & Pay them to suffer myself.not recommended to.anyone.
Screen would not survive a month in month they replace 3 times.

Called into the Melbourne CBD store and had my Redmi Note 5 assessed for a possible battery problem. The young technician was very knowledgeable & helpful. After a brief battery test, inspection & reboot my mobile now operates better than ever. Repair Mate even held a replacement battery on standby should it be needed later. I have no hesitation in highlighting Repair Mate's professionalism and care. Thank you all so much.

Attended for a straight battery swap for a sony z5 premium, I provided a sourced OEM battery myself as the phone is a 4 year old model and there are 3 variants of the Z5 from Sony.
Provided my device and battery to them for the swap, was advised that yes the original battery was dead and the battery I provided was installed, however it was "too big" for the phone somehow.

Move forward a day and I had discovered that the camera / shutter button on the side of the phone isn't working, so I returned the phone to them for inspection, they advise they need parts to continue testing and they are expected after the labour day holiday so I requested the phone back over the weekend as I don't have a backup to use. Once I got the phone back home I then discover the battery isn't charging, the phone was detecting the current but not charging the battery.
I advise this and return the phone again on tuesday when they reopen, they receive the ordered parts and conclude there's nothing wrong with the phone, this seems to be an issue caused by the battery I supplied, fine no worries I organise an RMA with the supplier and simply request a battery swap using the store provided battery. I paid a further $129 ontop of the original amount of $89 I paid for the battery swap and am shown the battery they use for the swap which is a third smaller than the batter that was removed from my phone.

I retrieved the phone on friday the 13th at roughly 11 am and the device was at around 70% charged. By 4pm the device was at less than 25% charge, that day was spent in meetings with just bluetooth connectivity turned on no video streaming, not tethered to other devices or functioning as an access point/hotspot. Today I took the phone off charge at 10am at 100%, at the time of writing this it is 1: 46pm and the phone is at 15% and plugged into its charger.

I called and spoke with their customer service rep whom I asked to confirm the battery details (IE: capacity, watthour output, voltage and battery part number) as there are 3 variants of the Z5 each with different size batteries. I was told to bring the device in as it was under warranty and if there's an issue it will be fixed under warranty but that if there's nothing wrong with the battery that it must be the phone itself that's causing the issue of consumption, I explained that's not what I asked for and as I was briefly shown the battery type they used in my battery swap when I collected my phone I wanted confirmation of its details.

I've worked as an IT tech in various industries for 17 years now and I'm familiar with the diagnostic process, being advised they can't provide me with the details of the part they installed in my device is concerning but also not accepting that when the phone has been tested by their technicians already and they were unable to fault it and yet once they install their supplied battery the device suddenly start exhibiting poor performance and the battery is discharging at a rate 5 times faster than expected for a new battery in the unit I get irritated.

Long and short they may be good at swapping batteries out of Apple or samsung devices, but that's where this competence stops.

I'll be having the battery in my phone checked and if it's for the z5 compact or z5 standard I'll be getting a full refund from you, especially considering your website advertises sony battery swaps and it looks like the specificity of what kind of battery starts and stops with "well it says sony on it".

The online customer services was friendly and fast! Even though it was in the weekends, I could still receive response on my inquiries. Also, the staff understood my concerns (the time issue), and processed my screen replacement in a timely manner. Now my laptop screen has been fixed and I am happy with that! Thank you so much!

Amazing! Got my Huawei nova 2i battery replaced.phone is about a year old and it showed, battery had 'expanded' pushing my screen out, couldn't use sleep button or volume down button. Repair mate ordered a new battery for me, and had it fixed within an hour for about 100 dollars. Very friendly service, very knowledgeable.highly recommended.
