Renown Kindergarten

I am extremely concerned about the true values, beliefs and authenticity of the committee running this kindergarten. When there is a family crisis they didn’t care of show any compassion towards our family. We understand you have policies but in times of losing a family member and asking for your assistance you failed to assist but just pointed to your black and white policies! Everything is not just black or white when it comes to life, and sometimes in extreme circumstances you need to show genuine compassion to families and not just refer back to your policies rule book! An experienced committee and leader should know this!

One of the best things we did for our son was enrol him at Renown. Our whole experience was lovely, it’s a welcoming environment for both students and their families and there is a great community feel and engagement. The teachers take the time to know your child and the learning experiences they would set up each morning would have my son so excited to get to kinder. We would’ve loved to have finished out the year but unfortunately we moved overseas. A fantastic kindergarten experience!

Our son had a good year at the kinder. The 4 year program was very good and my son was quite well settled at the kinder. The staff are very caring and supportive and foster a good inclusive environment for the kids. We are truely grateful to the staff and management.

Our daughter began at Renown Kindergarten this year in the 3YO kinder program. We could not be more pleased with caring and nurturing community she has joined - we had a seamless transition and she has loved all the opportunities available.

Highly recommend. We have twins, one with additional needs. We had been actively discriminated against from other kinders in the area. In direct contrast, Renown opened up their doors with a welcome smile and said ‘how can we help? ’. They went above and beyond. They were open to new ideas and did additional research and training. Always putting students first. Real community spirit. We will remember our time there with fondness.

It is a beautiful nice kindergarten. My daughter went there for just the fourth term only but she loved it. Staff was very friendly and helped her feel comfortable. They have some good fun activities for kids and my daughter was very enthusiastic about going to her kindergarten.

Renown has been a simply wonderful experience for our family.

The teachers, the programs, the grounds, the kids and other families have all made for a lovely and happy experience which has seen our daughter grow and learn so much.

We will be fans forever of Renown and the wonderful community and people within it.

I am so grateful to have found this Kinder for my kiddo's 4yo year. It's exceeded my expectations in terms of the wholistic learning opportunities, staff professionalism and dedication, and the wonderful inclusive community of teachers and families. The facilities are constantly evolving, and this year a wonderful edible garden was developed with the support of kids, teachers and a very kind parent who took it on as a project. We have loved being part of my kiddo's kinder experience at Renown and will be sad to move on!

Couldn't be happier - the French program is simply amazing! It's well organised, offers a wide range of different activities such as drama and sport every week and is super stimulating for our kids. They love it and are always excited to go there. Cécile, Barbara and the other staff members are truly caring souls, and you can feel how they treat the children whole heartedly and see each one of them as the individual that they are. Would definitely recommend to anybody!

Renown offers all the wonders of a community-based kindergarten. The staff are incredibly nurturing, balanced, open-minded and flexible in their approach – they recognise and tap into the unique personalities and joys of each child. The arts and crafts, gardening, music, sport and French activities are gorgeous. Families are constantly updated by the highly qualified team; plus there are pictures/summaries of the week’s events through the Story Park app. An amazing kinder. Have loved our time there.

It’s a good kindy but we had a disappointing experience when our kid fell in the playground and knocked her lip - because the playground didn’t follow safety regulations (no fall margins). Then we decided to change kindy. Never received proper apologies let alone refund for unused time

I was looking for a friendly, family oriented Kindergarten for my son - small class size, educational experience, outdoor play and multiculturalism were high on my list. Renown has far exceed my wish list and more! Backing onto a park and playground, plus having a hugely engaged family community means pre and post kinder play for my son is a wonderful bonus. Renown celebrates each child as an individual as well as teaching respect and kindness as key principles - these attributes are so important to us as a family. It's been amazing to see the easy transition for our son - he wants to go to kinder everyday and we could not be more thrilled. Thank you to the beautiful Renown community - we could not recommend more!

Our child attends the kinder and thoroughly enjoys it. Well run by a dedicated and passionate team of teachers and educators. Great community kindergarten.

I have a child in the 3yr old program and I couldn’t be happier. The educators are very experienced, strong relationships with the children are developed straight away and the program is very progressive and play focused with strong goals and planning to allow a variety of experiences and learning opportunities for a range of interests and abilities. The educators follow themes of children’s interests and extend their experiences based on this. The director is highly trained and experienced and leads the way to provide a nurturing, educational experience.

Fantastic kindergarten with strong emphasis on community. French program is amazing and extended care supports our family schedule.
