Marvelous resource for anyone working on a period property and searching for hard to find, original doors, handles and more! A treasure trove for renovations and renovations.

If you ever struggle to find a matching replacement for a door hinge, a cupboard handle or perhaps a light fitting etc.in your period home it's quite likely that you'll find it at this place. The have a huge variety of different types of timber, doors, windows, fireplace mantles, mirrors and similar. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

Went in to get some reclaimed hardwood floorboards to make a couple of pieces of furniture. Found a suitably-sized pack of wonderful old boards with beautiful gum veins, and staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. One particular staff member in the wood shop remembered me from the reconnaissance visit I'd made a few weeks before (thanks Ali - hope I'm getting that right!), where we'd had a lovely chat about the features of old-growth hardwood, and unbound the pack to help me look at each board before I bought it. They were able to deliver the boards the same day (I was lucky there), and driver helped unload directly into the garage. Highly recommend this place, and I would absolutely go back in future. It's fun just to look around the old leadlight windows, fittings and fixtures, fireplace surrounds, doors, lighting - beautiful old stuff.

It is a paradise! Well laid out with everything you need. I purchased three great lights and Jodie's knowledge, passion and attention to detail was outstanding.

Great place to find old floorboards and a lot of other items for a house. The place is well organised and the workers are highly professional and very helpful. They are doing an amazing job recycling and reusing stuff that would end up in landfill.

Bought entrance doors, supposed to be "sanded back ready to go"! Great photo shopping!
Multiple areas patched with some sort of plasterparis, other area approx 12cm x 14cm unable to be patched appropriately. Cost of doors OVER $2000 plus cartage.

Great place - what a shame you have such poor customer service.
we purchased some recycle oregan -
young chap helping originally said I'll make two cuts at no cost-
then when we advised we needed to picked up few more pieces
we had paid forehand needed 5 cuts in total.
he refused to make any courtesy cuts saying he had spent 20 minutes with us therefore: removed all complimentary cuts.
It was only a few dollars but the service principle is lacking in this place. Its always go beyond peoples expectation.not remove them

If you're looking for something a little bespoke - look no further. Staff in the wood shop were super helpful. Their timber range is great.
The array of doors is akin to Monsters Inc. Well worth a look if you're into upcycling, renovation, or restoration.

I purchase a gas wall light & shade and had it posted from Melbourne to Sydney through Renovators Paradise.
The delicate item was professionally packaged and rapped with great care as one would hope. Thank you all from Renovators Paradise who had been involved with sending through the wall light as it will now take pride & place installed in our 1905 Federation home in Haberfield Sydney.

They know what they're selling and help you out in picking the stock you need. Just let them know what you're going to use it for and they will suggest the most appropriate one. Will definitely come back for more once my current project is done

We were expecting a yard where we'd have to fossick around, but these guys are all about presentation of amazing period materials. You'll be hard pressed to get out of there in less than an hour on your first visit.

Awesome place for every trade that appreciates old heritage of Melbournes style. This place has everything from Shandeliar to Old heritage lock to stricker plate. Very impressed

Absolutely amazing place to find old and unique pieces with plenty of history attached to some items, stained glass, sash windows, internal and external doors, salvaging these old Melbourne homes is a great thing for keeping history alive also folks, so a job very well done:)

Customer service is the name of the game! Rob from Renovators Paradise has helped a novice like me not only one but twice. While going through renovations, we required some used floorboards to fill in missing spots in the house. Not being family with who things work and having to borrow my brothers huge, it was very hard to tie down the 3.6 meter planks. Rob has helped me both times, he ensured that the they were tied down in a safe way and that i wouldn't have the floorboards fly off the back of the Ute and hit another car. Again thank you Rob and a lot of people can learn from him as this is a sign of true care for the customer and going above and beyond their actual requirements.

Bought some beautiful bits of recycled timber and the guys machined them on the spot for us! Wish I could have bought some of those amazing leadlight windows

This place is just awesome. Organised, clean, walkable and beautifully curated into like products. Oh and such a convienient location. I bought some bedside tables that were too good to be true.

From gorgeous vintage windows and doors to recycled timber of all kinds. Undercover, spacious and equipped with patient helpful staff, this is a must to visit and purchase something really unique.
