I have had some positive outcomes 2 times. But 3rd time was unbelievable. They texted me the day before to cancel the meditation between myself and my ex wife regarding Myself the father wanting to spend time with his son. When I rang them to discuss them cancelling the meditation session. They couldn't give me a reason. Even though I was begging them for help. All I wanted was some help so I could fairly discuss a fathers love for his son and wanting to spend good quality time with him. But they just pushed me away and said go try somewhere else.

I was disappointed at the quality of counselling and also with the service as a whole. As some one who works in the industry I felt the service provided was actually unsafe and not therapeutically sound. I attempted to ring several times to discuss invoice payments with no outcome. I left a message and to this day have not heard back. This was 2-3 months ago now. If you are considering couples therapy/ R/Ship counselling its a very specialised field please see you GP to discuss alternatives if you are thinking about this service.

Tried to make an appointment at the Sunshine Branch, left a number of messages that weren't returned. Maybe they need more support staff, or a better telephone system. After reading these reviews, maybe I've dodged a bullet.

My husband and I have had 3 counselling sessions with Suzie and have found each and every one of these helpful, enlightening and an extremely positive experience. We cannot speak highly enough of Suzie and the administration staff at RAV Siunshine and highly recommend all couples to work through their issues with support from the staff at RAV Sunshine.

This place is amazing. The Men's Behaviour Change Program offered here has changed my life. I recommend this program to every male. If you want to be a better father, husband, friend etc then this program will get you there. From administration/support staff to counselors will always treat you with respect and are very understanding of situation.i have read some negative reviews on here and I don't feel they represent this place. P. S if the government is serious about making a change to DV then this program needs to be more widely available:)

It took me 2 months to see (Tess D*rlingt*n
Counsellor Couple, Family and Child). Thinking they must be very good, if it takes 2 months to book.

My ex partner and I attempted couple counseling through Relationships Australia in Sunshine. Our first appointment was a direct reflection of the organisation. The professionalism of the Counsellor, Tess, was non existence. Seemed like she just walked of a school.

After first couple session with Tess, She booked in 1 to 1 sessions with each of us separately.
After 1 to 1 session with my ex partner. I then had my session. 20 minutes into our 1 to 1 session Tess tells me that she can’t continue sessions with me (without any given reason). And will continue seeing my ex partner.

3 months down the track we still have not been able to start our couple counseling- thanks to this unprofessional councilor.

TOTAL WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!

I have recommended to my ex partner that she find a more professional organisation who is actually willing to help.
Absolutely pathetic service. I give it one star because the option for none is not available.

Absolute worst councillor I have ever had the misfortune to sit a session with. Trish was opinionated and talked about herself throughout the whole session. I went in seeking compassion and guidance because my husband and I are experiencing marriage problems. I was rudely asked why I still called him my husband and told that she would not see my husband and I together as she did not think it would help. She showed no compassion or empathy for my situation. I would recommend anyone who is seeking counciling to go to there local GP and get a care plan for a psychologist rather than waste their time and money with this organisation and there councillors. Very disappointing service. Would have given no stars if I could have.

My patrtner attempted mediation through Relationships Australia in Sunshine. Her first appointment was a direct reflection of the organisation. The professionalism of the mediator, Thomas, was non existent and when I called and made a complaint on her behalf it was suggested that there was no indication my partner was distressed, yet she was in tears at the end of the session. Since then, she has been attempting to communicate with a Joanne who is no better, doesn’t give her any information at all as to what is happening in regards to the other party, i.e, are they attending, have they attended, what is going on with the process. It has gone unresolved with no answers since Thursday 29th June 2017.
After having attended the mediation process myself in the past, I have recommended to my partner that she find a more professional organisation who is actually willing to help.
Absolutely pathetic service. I give it one star because the option for none is not available.

My wife and I went to make our relationship better. After 3 sessions at $150 a visit her suggestion was divorce. We are now going to another councilor. I would give no stars but that's not a option for a review
