I wish I actually went here. I think I'm going to find a reason to visit.

Went to see black widow today in the main theatre, the big one. But why was there a weird thing happening on the top 1/4 of the screen? It was like water moving around? It’s hard to explain but it stands out like daylight on a light coloured back ground. It was so distracting. It ruining the movie. Made it look low quality. Like watching it in 720p or worse!
P. S Black widow wasn’t worth watching in my opinion. Nothing to do with avengers. But that’s just me.

The foyer was extremely busy, which made social distancing difficult. Movie tickets and candy bar are considerably more expensive than alternative venues. All in all however; a pleasant cinema experience, and a beautiful building.

Staff were mostly well presented nice looking place, shame about the water damage but it happens

Took my twelve year old to this cinema a few weeks back to watch Kong v Godzilla. He absolutely loved the cinema, he has autism and found its not as loud as some cinemas and more cosy. We loved the hot food bar downstairs.and being so damn cold he loved his chips and gravy and warm donuts watching his movie.handy location to the train and other facilities too. The staff were quite nice too, we had been travelling and arrived tired and they allowed him to sit on the velvet benches upstairs for a while and we're all quite friendly. I absolutely loved the carpet, red velvet seating and lights.wow!

Heating broken in cinema. Froze. Complained. Fixing it tomorrow! Why did they sell tickets in there?

Best place in Ballarat to go to the movies, if you sign up for a member ship not only do you get a free ticket you also get cheaper tickets, plus if you get the new updated app you can easily keep track of points which you can use to buy tickets. The staff are welcoming and the building is well kept and stunning!

Cinema was nice and comfortable but there was popcorn everywhere. We were let in 15 minutes early when that time could have been used to clean the popcorn filled floor.

Was a really pretty building and well maintained building. Staff were nice and friendly too. However the floors were littered with popcorn when we went into the theatre. I don't know if this is how it usually is or if they were just busy that night

I love seeing movies here, they are always such high quality with sound and visual. The snack bar is amazing and the staff are nice.

I recommend getting a movie club card here. You get a free movie ticket with it, and the tickets are $10 each using the card. The snack bar also has discounts with the card.

Great cinemas. Really friendly staff. Cinema 1 is clearly the best one while the others are comfortable

The milkshakes takes a good 15mins to make taste decent. Seats are decent 2 star as choccy milkshake took to long.

Expensive however for movie club members its a good deal, the place is clean, climatically controlled and comfy for a good movie experience

Absolutely love coming to this theatre for the movies. The original theatre room is stunning and the seats are really comfy. The food here is good and sometimes I like to go to the cafe for a hot chocolate and the staff are always really lovely. They always have lots of different movies available to see and you can buy tickets online which is handy.

Amazingly beautiful old building. I have a movie club card it's such great value, you would be crazy not to sign up even if you go very rarely. They really care about their customers, everytime something has mucked up like gift cards or their system, they look after you, never ripping you off.

Loved the Gold Class, has delicious food, staff are really friendly and can't wait to go see more movies there

Well priced tickets and candy bar deals. Our movie was in the original movie theatre and it was just stunning. Staff were so very helpful assisting us up to the cinema with my son who is in a wheelchair. Definitely two thumbs up for our experience today!

It's ok, but they change a fortune for everything & the seats ARE NOT comfortable at all. End up with a sore butt after the movie, because the seats are like sitting on concrete. Showbiz Cinema's are SO much more better. Xx

Great to see a movie in cinema 1again, you just can't beat that big screen and sound, was perfect to sit and watch Elita battle angle on a balmy Saturday afternoon, the air con was just right not warm and stuffy or to cold.

This is one of the best cinemas in Victoria. I have had nothing but good experiences from the last five years. The prices are reasonable with the tickets and the candy bar is always well stocked. I recommend the salty caramel or boysenberry choc top! The seats are soft and comfortable, and the Gold Class experience is something that everyone should try at least once. It is always enjoyable to go out for dinner and head off to a movie. I am looking forward to many more visits in the years to come!
