What a wonderful discovery: a typical old-fashioned country town hardware store in the middle of suburbia. Great range for a small shop, very helpful staff. Support your local businesses and shop here when you can. Plenty of parking behind the shop off Maud Street,

Red and was good until the new owner took over. The previous owner had the building certificates and knowledge to give the right advice and product. The new owner had not demonstrated that yet. Redmans was easy to navigate around easy parking and no time wastage. The experience was better than Bunnings. If you ask for advice you may not get the advice you’re looking for.

Amazing range of items in such a very small store. Today j got a 15 amp plug and a trailer tail light assembly, not even Bunnings stocks these.

Very rude, and bad service. Did not want to provide any help whatsoever, I am sure "Danish Oil" is not too hard to understand.

Business Changed hands but new owner seems nice. Due to the COVID-19 SOP, only bought some items after a phone order, and collected, contact free.

Horrible customer service, rude and doesnt care about the locals. Bought a set of globes here, one didnt work, returned them and asked to swap for a set that worked and he called me a liar and said bad luck.

Sold us a tap fitting that didn't fit. We were skeptical but they insisted it would fit so purchased it. It didn't fit so we went to return it the next day, packaging in tact and they refused a refund.

Fantastic hardware shop for nearly all your needs. Add that to the fact that you'll be greeted with an incredibly knowledgeable and amicable person behind the counter, you got a winner. Went in looking for some supplies for a project, ended up having a great discussion about the best way to do the project well. Couldn't recommend this place more.

Smaller hardware store may not have a wide range of tools, price comparison with big one like Bunnings, but it's close. I don't need to drive all the way to Hawthorn. So it's good if you need something urgent.

Welcome back to old school service. While they may not always have the endless range of a Bunnings they make up for by being local and spot on with advice and a really helpful attitude.

I live locally although often forget to try Redman's, instead instinctively heading to that other barn of a hardware store, under the impression that they'll always have what I need. But I have to say, every time I've needed anything and called Redmans, they've had it. And they instantly know what I'm talking about. Parking is very easy. It's extremely convenient. And most of all their prices are good. In fact on some plumbing fittings and drill extensions I needed recently they were cheaper than that other store! So let's all support this local guy, he's about the last one left!

Quick, helpful and extremely convenient. This will definitely be my first stop before going to the 'bigger' ones in the future. I got "wall mates" and a tape measure on Sunday at 12. Saved me about 1hour or more of time. Great find!
