Reddy Roasts Carvery - Carrum Downs

Is there anything better than juicy roast beef packed with flavour in a soft roll with homemade chips that are thick and cooked to perfection topped with lush thick gravy?

Bought a roast pork roll asked for extra apple sauce hardly any meat in it no extra apple sauce not one bit of crackle was disgusted with it

Service was slow and painful. Had to ask questions 3 times before I even got any sort of reply other than a blank stare.
Chips were really yummy, meat was tasty. Veggies were hard and close to inedible.

Pretty average tonight! Crackle was a dismal greasy chewy portion. I'm trying to say my roast meal was edible but I'd be lying. It used to be a good place for food but unfortunately now I have lost faith

Terrible customer service… rude and unhelpful over the phone.don’t recommend going here for a meal food was cold and dry.

This is the third time in a row that we've been served disappointing meals from Reddy Roast Carrum Downs. Asked for scalloped potatoes, received roast potatoes. Asked for gravy on everything, only got it on the meat. Food was delivered luke warm. Meat was fatty. Chips were soggy. As I said in my previous review (below), it’s not enough to warrant a return trip or phone call to the restaurant, but it’s disappointing (especially when you need to convince a fussy toddler to eat soggy chips). That's all the chances you get, Reddy Roast. Overpriced meals and underwhelming service.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: The food itself is consistently very nice. My only complaint is that we often don’t get everything we pay for. Last night's order was missing a side order of gravy and crackling for the two pork dinners which I specifically requested. It’s not enough to warrant a return trip or even a phone call to the restaurant to collect the missing items, but it’s frustrating and a waste of money for us. A little more attention to detail would make this little gem a perfect restaurant!

Fantastic food & service, I go there regularly for a take away dinner! Nothing beats a lamb, pork or beef roast with all the trimmings! (colours!)

Thank you for such a delicious meal. It was like having the restaurant come to us. Very generous serving as well as fast and friendly delivery.

Put my delivery order in at 5.42pm. Received the sms to say order would be delivered around 6.55pm. Ok, that's a while, but figured it was an estimate. No delivery at 7.10pm so rang and was told, oh we'll make up the order now and get it to you with next available delivery person. At just after 7.30pm the delivery arrived. You know if you're going to come up with why the delivery was so late at least have a reasonable reason. Not that you've been busy and ran out of meat at 7pm. That seriously doesn't work given I rang at 7.10pm and you then made up the order. Not the first time this type of thing has happened. Won't happen again as you've lost my business. Just be honest! You missed the order.

A huge thank you to Andrew and the Reddy Roast Carrum Downs team! For providing the awesome food for our wedding on sat night.the service and quality was 2nd to none! My "husband" (sounds wierd) was extremely impressed, as were I and all our guests.it was the perfect "mean feed"
special mention of your lovely staff member Deborah, that delivered it all to us.going above and beyond to be in and out quickly yet taking great care to dish it up into out warmers for us.

Love the roasts and the ribs are just to die for, they taste amazing, had trouble once, a really late delivery but they were super busy and did let me know that they were running late, food was still excellent

Our Uber driver stole our food and cancelled the order on us, it assigned a new driver and we never got our food.
Deborah from Reddy Roast called me up and advised of what happened and organised the food to be delivered out by staff as there shop was now closed on Uber, an unfortunate night was helped out by the team who went above and beyond for their customers, awesome work!

Ordered Xmas chickens two weeks before the lady was rude told me they were in the middle of big catering order no other customer in shop rolled her eyes at me and took my order under sufference pick them up barely cooked very disorganised hope I dont get sick more like unready roast

Called in to grab dinner and was meet with a group of friendly staff who went out of their way to look after me. I ordered 2 dinner packs with some extra side cracking. Wow my tastebuds where dancing on my tongue. I will be back tomorrow.

Went in for the first time yesterday. Was super hungry and asked for extra things to be added, not a problem at all for the staff member, he was happy to make sure I left full! Super quick and really really flavoursome. The chip batty with extra beef added was amazing! The best thing after spending 4 hours on my bike! Thank you and I will be back many many times

Got a roast beef and roast pork roll delivered with Uber eats and will definitely order again just amazing.would be great if there was cheese as well to go on the rolls

One thing for Menulog - Could you please add a Gravy option for Chips? The description says they come with gravy, however this seems to be a bit hit or miss. Adding it as an option should avoid any confusion.

Placing an order in person is relatively okay, but trying to get a phone order for pickup placed was terrible. Was put on hold for 10 minutes, only for someone to pick up the phone again and ask if it was okay to put me on hold. Not great.
