We had a really negative experience with this company and I would strongly recommend not to use them. We ended up having to pay another plumber to come and do the work again.

I could not fault the service, workmanship and service I received from Steve at Red Dog. Mine was a tricky, difficult job, but was done quickly, efficiently and professionally, including quite a bit of tough physical work.

Needed pipes replaced, got quote from another organisation. Price quoted was ridiculous. Called Steve at Red Dog, he did the same work for 20% of the other quote.
Red Dog Plumbing is responsive, reliable and does a quality job at reasonable prices.

Have used Steve for a number of years now. He has provided a consistently prompt and reliable service to all our needs. When our hot water service needed a part a couple of weeks ago he returned a call to my inquiry that night, (a Sunday) and came and replaced the required part the following day. Hot water when we got home! Consistently good service in the 4 years we have used him.

Great job. Steve suggested we wait a couple of days to test something and he was right! Called past on his way home on a Sunday to check and make sure everything was ok. Have used for a few years now and always reliable.

Thanks Red Dog, a late night call to Steve (Good Friday) and your plumber Mark was on the door step Saturday unblocking our drain just in time for our visitors on the weekend! The saga will continue with "flushable wipes" - not ours I will stress. This is our second house in Willi and our only plumber is Red Dog.

Rang this guy to repair a hot water service, said he could do it, come around fitted a part then said couldn't fix it. But still charged me $300! Wish i had of read other reviews first. Give this guy a miss unless you want to get ripped off.

Steve was great - came out super quick for an emergency job - came highly recommended from local group - job was done quickly, properly and reasonably priced - would highly recommend Steve and the team at Red Dog.

Beware this plumber.
Sold us, installed and connected our brand new expensive water heater and now the connections are leaking (12 litres per hour) several months later refuses to accept responsibility. Clearly he does not understand consumer law, nor take responsibility for his workmanship.
Charged $250 to attempt to clear blocked sewerage, which turned out to be blocked beyond my property. My son paid immediately (I was not home) but it was several weeks of chasing him to get a receipt.
I have seen his dismissive responses to other negative reviews and so would add I can prove everything I have written.

Steve is a friendly guy but beware.

Red Dog plumbing came to our house to remove and then reinstall a sink after some benchtop upgrades.

In the process he:
- removed the dishwasher connection so my dishwasher could not be used anymore.
- lost a critical washer for the sink connection.
- fixed that problem by attaching a new hose that only partially fitted with the comment: you better keep an eye on that, it may start leaking again. (And charged me for the hose + time to repair)
- stuffed the mixer when connecting the hose so that it started leaking.
- charged me a fortune
- didn't provide a receipt. (I asked, he said he would have to give it to me later, but never did)

I guess it's a way to make a living: stuff things up, then charge the customers doubly to fix it again and refuse to provide a receipt.

Not something I want to support though, so I did not get him a back to fix the dishwasher connection and mixer, and I am leaving my first ever tradie review.

Beware.

Main job was sound, however they wouldn't follow up on several post job leaks when requested, they did not return our calls, we had to get another plumbing company to do it which worked actually better in the long run given we had other things to complete.

Fantastic service, our hot water stopped working Sunday and they came out and checked the issue and had replaced the next day. A life saver, not to mention very fair pricing.great work guys, thanks.
