Red Smoke Bendigo

My Redsmoke experience was so divine that I didn't even have time to capture it through photos. The family eagerly indulged in the mouthwatering BBQ-styled food; the ribs, incredibly tender, practically fell off the bone, and the fried pickles were a burst of rich flavor. I find myself yearning to live closer just to relish these delights weekly. The pricing is remarkably reasonable, and the service was not only prompt but genuinely delightful. Redsmoke seamlessly combines culinary excellence with a warm and efficient dining experience, leaving me regretful for missing the chance to capture its visual allure.

We love Red Smoke! Their food is super tasty and their desert platter is awesome - so yummy and so well priced! They even just dropped one off at our house! Such great service

Went to red smoke before an engagement party in the area. We live in south eastern suburbs in Melbourne which is unfortunately 2 hours away.
Restaurant has the most amazing food and service not to mention prices.
If it was near us we would be going there all the time.
We found this in a number of places we visited, Bendigo has really amazing friendly service with really reasonable prices.
Since covid everything in the city and our area has just sky rocketed with many people not being able to afford eating out, also service and attitude has just plummeted.
It's really nice to see that Bendigo has such an amazing level of service and has an absolutely amazing food industry. Heaps of lovely quaint restaurants in the area producing great cuisine.
I would highly recommend Red Smoke restaurant and for people outside of the area, to travel to Bendigo for a day trip and support the local businesses.
Absolute Gem.

Been wanting to try this for a while. Although it was late & midweek we couldn’t dine in but were offered takey away. Brisket, 3 sides & 2 complimentary. Wonderful tender smoked, crisp fresh & tangy sides. Prices are exceptionally reasonable. Can’t wait to go back and dine in. Thanks again & see you soon.

Food was spectacular we had ribs and brisket they melted in the mouth! Service was prompt efficient and un intrusive. Well priced and great atmosphere. Overall 10 out of 10 experience.

Food was nice but absolutely nothing special. Very limited menu. Service is non-existaent as staff pay no attention to customers, preferring to chat in the kitchen. If you want something you'll have to go get a waiter.

Been coming monthly for over a year and never been dissatisfied or disappointed. Recommend this place to any meat eater! The sides are a gorgeous accompaniment. Simply delicious!

Dissapointed, dry meat and very overpriced, for what i was expecting, which was american style bbq with meat falling off the bone, but was dry pork, brisket and ribs, a shaved carrot in vinegar, just boring

A bit underwhelming, especially for the price. Meat was all fairly low quality and not particularly tasty. Mac and cheese was just bad. Fried pickles were good but very greasy.

Phenomenal beef brisket! Everything in the menu is amazingly delicious and well priced, huge bang for the buck.

SUPER tasty! The brisket and the ribs tasted amazing and the meat fell apart… the pork belly was perfection and you need the finely cut slaw to cut through the meat… highly recommended!

My first time here absolutely beautiful food and service was amazing can't wait to get back to Bendigo for another feed here

Do not come to this place, the food is not that good and they just charge us $15 extra because at the end they accommodated us in a table once we ordered and waited 15min for take away. We ordered $50 worth food and when we went to pay, they just charge us a 30% additional because we dine in.

Fantastic little restaurant. Unfortunately couldn't dine in due to its small size but decided to get the take away. Had the beef brisket, ribs, slaw, pickled carrot salad and corn bread in the pack for 2. The meat was delicious and melt in your mouth and everything else was spot on as well. Only cost $47 for 2 people and the owner was extremely friendly and even threw in 2 beers for free. Someone willing to be so generous during such tough times and still doing such a great job deserves success in the long run! Thanks Matt. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding. The perfect mix of quality and value for money. Fantastic BBQ meats. Brisket and ribs juicy and flavoursome but clean. Not too salty or sweet, the meat was the star. Delicious clean sides. Really highly recommend. $55 for 2 people and a small amount of left overs too. Put it on your list

Absolutely mouth-watering food cooked by a true legend. Always finish our dinner wanting more. I can't say enough postive words about this gorgeous restaurant! Highly recommend.

Unplanned visit here because the place I was going to was shut on a Tuesday. Was greeted very warmly by the owner/waiter/chef. Menu isn’t too big but has a good variety. Had the scotch fillet steak that was cooked perfectly to my liking. Came with a very nice salad, thick cut chips and jus.
