15Unbelievably slow. Nearly 5 minutes just for someone to serve at the counter. They didn’t listen and screwed the order up. After waiting for our number for 10 minutes, the lady I assume was the manager called out the number and walked away. With the bag of food. Had to wait until she finally came back to get my food. Ended up with smashed up burgers and soggy chips. Not a napkin in sight and the lady running the show was about as lazy and rude as you could get.

Dropped in for a bite to eat and was eating in. The condition of the dining area was disgusting. All the tables looked as though not cleaned for hours. What a difference to when covid high on agenda all would be cleaned regularly. They need to lift their game.
One of the better quality foods available at service centres. Great for those with dietary requirements such as gluten free. Tasty roast chicken and veggies
I am writing two separate reviews as both days I couldn't believe what transpired. Yesterday at lunchtime 1.15pm I tried ordering and was told we have run out of chicken, which I found astounding hence couldn't order.
The second day today I thought I might grab a Roast dinner for tea, thru the dtive thru, and I ordered it with a wing piece, when checked they had given me the smallest drumstick I have ever seen, and peas and a huge clump of roast carrots, with no potatoes and little gravy so I parked the car and went into store to complain and was told that a wing piece would take 12 minutes to cook, and they had run out of roast potatoes and pumpkin.
So had no choice but to accept it and after one taste of chicken that was like eating an old boot, I thru the whole lot in the bin. So I will not be coming back to RR ever again.
For a "fast food" franchise this should be the bench mark of how not to run a business waited for 5 minutes even before been served the so called manager is running around in a singlet top - not sure if that meets the requirements for the food handlers cert and to top it off after the 15min wait the child's meal that ended up in the bin came served in a box like this (see attached), that just ended up in the bin. Iv seen fast food services open at 3am in South Yarra ran with more organisation! Won't see me back here.
Very inconsistent on how the wraps are made sometimes and sometimes small,
Today they have forgotten to put my chips in on a regular flavour wrap meal
Don’t know the difference between breast and a leg, should be an important part of the interview process to tell what the parts of the chicken is, at a place that sells chicken.maybe need a 5 year course at uni to learn the difference on whats a LEG or a BREAST.
Where do I start?
The super rude short woman with black hair who screams out and tells everyone how bad her day is?
Maybe take a snickers love?
Or perhaps it's the food all over the floor where they are "cooking" you can see from the counter? Next time I'll post a photo.
Or the huge wait when there seems to be hardly any customers?
Perhaps the fact that this place never has customers at the counter is enough to give you the hint to give it a miss!
Cold food replaced chips no salt sub cold and a mess maybe had bacon not sure gave up in the end.adult manager with experience supervising at all times maybe needed. My father's meal over salted chips and chicken borderline over done was still better than my meal. Got a wrap at McDonald's to try and redeem my lunch and had bad luck twice. They put green thick tomatoes in the wrap only slightly red was the skin. Dark overdone chicken strip. Fast food can be hit and miss and I hope it gets better for others.
Today afternoon I ordered a chicken strip for my baby and went to pickup to red rooster. After showing my order to a lady there was a young and thin guy working there who was laughing continuously until I leave. Once I took the order I told the lady that it was for my baby so I ordered less quantity there is no need for him to laugh like that continuously, she havent even apologized to me regarding the issue. I never recommend this place they just give value depending on the quantity.lot of racism here and no proper customer service. No apologies atleast.
8.45 pm Saturday night place looked open lights on after waiting 5 minutes for service only to be told very rudely that they are closed.
I ordered a classic roast which was supposed to come with 1/4 chicken, 3 roast veggies, peas, gravy and drink. The young man didn't quite know the menu when I asked for a classic roast. He asked me whether I wanted chips. I said should it come with roast veggies? He said yes and told me I can have a drink or chips or both. I said I will have chips and a drink. Then I got something that was basically a gravy soup with chicken peas and chips. There was no veggie! There must be a litre of gravy, everything else was swimming in it. What a disaster!
Just gone through Drive thru, was asked if wanted a regular or large meal, said large was given regular. Asked for nugget meal with sweet n sour sauce, got nuggets thrown in the bottom of the bag and of course there was no sauce.
I've worked at red rooster for many years and have eaten alot of it too and out of all the stores I've eaten from this is one of the best. Food is always pretty fresh and hot. They have mucked a few orders but they are always eager to fix it up with no fuss. All the staff and management I have encountered are very polite and eager to please. They have me coming back.
