Red Rooster

Great food and good value for money. This particular shop was already trading when I noved to East Bentleigh in 1989. So congratulations.

Well the staff were not experienced enough but also rooster is way more expensive than other takeaway places rest room needs an overhaul.

Came here for a quick dinner. The food did take some time to be made but with the wait. The bacon mama burger was delicious and the chicken was juicy and fresh. The chips where also hot which you barely find in fast food restaurants.

This was our first visit to a Red Rooster in over 20 years, not really liking fast food. We were able to order some roasted chicken, roast vegetables, peas & gravy. We took it home and enjoyed it so much we will go back for more.

I went into this red rooster with my wife and was very pleased at the cleanliness and service we received. Plates given with extra tissues. A little less salt on the chicken but all in all very happy

Only eat Red Rooster occasionally but l really enjoy it when l do. I have tried their burgers which l really enjoyed but mostly order chicken and chips. I think its well priced and always crispy chips and tender juicy chicken. Drive thru is quick. Plenty of free parking if dinning in.

Can't understand why there are such bad reviews. Food was spot on. Possibly the best red rooster I have ever had

I bought a roast chicken to take away. Nice stuffing. Just like any takeaway - cold & lacking welcome.

Why is that take out places always seem to get your orders wrong are they actually trained to forget what you say hmm I wonder. Always go here I'm a local even though they need to listen better to orders been taken find the staff friendly.

I called in tonight to purchase my very enjoyable Flayvor wrap that I have spoken about before.

Made mistake ordering roll with tender pieces. Highly processed and artificial taste. Disappointed that the Red Rooster chips are not what they used to be - crisp and tasty. Now droopy and bland. Only food worth ordering is the roast chicken that seems ok. Good on Red Rooster for trying new meals but they are way too processed and artificial additives - you can see it from the fluorescent colours and taste. Disappointed in the gravy and mash and gravy. Tastes too fake. 2 stars if it wasn't for the decent quarter chicken piece.

Chicken was really tasty, don't understand why people don't come more often like they go to KFC. This is much healthier option.

It was very clean and had a dyner kinda feel.the chicken was good too.as these sorts of places go redrooster is a good one.parking was available too
and that's a big plus for me.service was quick and snappy.

Service was fantastic, but the manager needs to learn how to use a deep fryer and not rush the cooking process. First lot of chips were so soggy they were inedible, asked for new ones and they were marginally better but still horrible. An extra 30 seconds in the deep fryer would have made all the difference.

Quick & precise - hot food - AND the portion I requested.

Like all red roosters, the food takes forever to come and when it does you're disappointed. Added one star because I'm impressed by their ability to take forever making an order when the store is empty and staying in business despite never having customers.

Placed an online order for dinner- never arrived- said order didn’t come through- now I have to keep an eye on my credit card to make sure they don’t take money after I paid with credit card! DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!

We used to get the family pack from here, really good value and feed the whole family, we are very grateful)

Sat in and all I could hear was the cashier Hannah obnoxiously yelling and laughing and talking about being in a fight. Didn’t even bother to come check the resturaunt or anything.

Staff are really nice, there were a few people so good took a little longer but understandable and tasted great! Definitely coming back
