Red Rocks Charcoal Chicken

Chips are pre cooked and then sitting there in basket, when you order they dunk them in to heat and finish, so they are always a bit dodge tasting. Chicken is ok. Salads are bad, they should just remove them from their menu. The distain for this type of food from them is clear, they take little pride in its quality.

Our charcoal chicken and fresh potato fried were amazing! You can also ask them to cut the chicken for you. Quick and ok service.

Chips were um crunchy,
The fried chicken was crispy,
Schnitzel burger was large,
Potato bake,

Staff are good and there's plenty of parking.

Gotten charcoal chicken here twice and both times it was decently juicy, not overcooked not dry. The gravy however is flavorless cornstarch and water.

Consistently the best charcoal chicken in the area. Succulent, perfectly seasoned, and fresh chips. Good price. Greek salad is also so good, but not as inexpensive (but it’s worth it and salad is good for you). Lovely service every time, no matter the customer. I’m so surprised at their rating, some reviews are so old? Maybe I only order their perfected dishes? Thank you and keep up the great work!

Chips are good but pasta salad today was terrible. I asked if she had any as none was in the display.
Chicken pieces were old, pasta uncooked and salad over all dry. I'd would have preferred you said you ran out rather then try and put something together for me last minute in back of your kitchen.

This is by far the worst chicken shop in Melbourne. If you want over cooked, dry, fatty rubbish then this is your place. I threw mine straight in the bin. And the 'service' is disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

Best fried chicken I have ever had. This comes from someone that feels they are a fried chicken connoisseur.just drove past 10 chicken chicken shops to get there.

Chicken and chips here are great! Quick service and the chickens are always super crispy on the outside.

Ate from here couple of times! Halal options! Halal certified. Good chicken. Chips could be fresher. Havemt tried any salads. I dont normally buy salads from takeaway places as I've gotten food poising from salads before. Overall nice food. Not too bad.

No idea what place the other reviewers are going to, but the chicken burgers, chips, and charcoal chicken here are really great. Service is fast. Don't bother with the salads, but that's not what you're really here for.

Worst place ever I as s Jun ed for chicken dim sums and they deceived me we ith pork dim sims and when I said this they just lied straight to my face DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS.

Never choose this place for any food.ate a large chips from this place and within a couple of hours i had copped the worst stomach pain and threw up.

This place must be reported.it is in need of a health inspector.
I cannot stress this enough.

Bottom line: i highly suggest not to eat from here.

I bought a chicken schnitzel burger and it was literally a bun with a dry schnitzel inside. No lettuce, mayo or anything. I ended up having to go to the supermarket to get lettuce etc, defeating the purpose of getting something quick. I wish I could post a photo of it on here!

Got a chicken roll with chips and gravy, worst mistake ever, have received food poisoning for the first time in my life!

Chicken and chips were OK. The macaroni and cheese was the worst I've ever had. I don't even know how you stuff up mac n cheese that badly. Way overcooked mushy penne in milk with no cheese, or salt, or flavour. One bite and straight to the dog.

Been going here for years -chips are always high quality, nice and crisp on the outside with fluffy potato on the inside. They also fill up the chip container until it’s overflowing so you always get a decent serve. Chicken is tasty and succulent too!
