Red Hill Brewery reviews
74Amazing BBQ, super nice beer and really laxed location, toasty little joint to be anytime. Love coming here as often as possible.
A little overpriced and wouldn't recommend on a super hot day but the beer and (US style) food options here are a great option if you're not looking for anything fancy.
It was really busy when we went but if your quick and pinch a table when someone’s leaving it’s worth it. Couldn’t fault the beers and the food was amazing. Tasting paddle was $12
No food after 4pm on a Saturday. Thanks for nothing. Not impressed. We sat here for 2 hours getting drinks and when ready could not order. Now we have to go elsewhere for food. Not happy.
Good beer tho but disappointed as we are hungry.
It’s a breath of fresh air down in Red Hill - Don’t have to book, very casual, easy going and best of all, awesome food!
Inflexible approach to tasting paddles (can only be these 4 beers), inflexible approach to serving sizes (can’t have a pot of this, only a 400ml goblet), and unfriendly way of communicating with customers. Cost yourself sales. Little wonder there are 6 ppl here and 106 ppl at St Andrew’s Beach Brewery. Won’t bother next time
Hard to believe that you'd place Red Hill in the 'old brigade' of Vic craft brewers (such is the explosion of the scene in recent years). Nice setting, very rural, quiet, casual. Didn't eat. Beers well priced and a few seasonals on. Service good this time around (a bit average about 5yrs ago). The beers presented very well.
Awesome little spot to chill out on a Saturday arvo for a few sherbets. Pale Ale, good drop. Service was top notch, especially from the bloke behind the bar. Cheers
Really friendly service, and a nice change to find a brewery in the midst of all the wineries!
The tasting board was a really good idea, it offers a sample of their various brews before you decide which you like best to buy.
Food is available for purchase, and the place is family friendly.
When you drive in you are greeted with a row of hop vines and a rustic aptly named “the brew house”. Instead of grape vines tressed across the entrance there is some hallertau hops gracefully draped over the pagoda. Trialling our the Tasting paddle for $12 and might have to splurge on the hopped up belgian.
Great place to visit, nice and easy to get there. Had the Scotch Ale and loved it, pity three items of food at 12: 30pm on a Sunday had run out already.
Superb Scotch Ale and agree with another reviewer who enjoyed the Blues background music.
Staff are knowledgeable about their products.
Really enjoyed the beer and food and awesome Blues music! Grabbed a 10 pack for the road and will be looking out for RHB in our local grog shop.
Good beer and cool location. Bit disappointed that the beers on tap are all the stock standard pilsner, larger etc and their best beers you have to buy by the bottle.
