I was given a 6 pack of Red Duck Beers for Christmas. My only criticism was that every beer was awesome but I only had one of each! Wow. After finishing each beer I wanted more and had to go to the next one. Well done, craft beer at its finest.

My partner bought a couple of Red Duck beers home and they were both delicious (XPA & 1851) and then I saw them at the market and got a random sample of about 6 more beers. Every single one is delicious. Great range and some interesting ones that are all exceptionally brewed. Just went to the actual brewery … picked up a Quack Pack (lol). Great staff too. Highly recommend.

So, #SOTR are stuck in Ballarat with a broken down car.what to do? Why not search for Independant local beer, and we find just around the corner Red Duck Brewery. We love our craft beers and here was no exception. Great beers (sampler paddle) and walked out with a few take aways, always a good sign. Very friendly staff and happy to chat about their history and some exciting ‘expansion plans’ in the pipeline - we wish all the best with these.
Peace, Johnny and Justine.

Very good quality beers made by an experienced brewer; the range is not huge but well varied. As a big bonus these guys do a range of very interesting gins which were exceptional. Some snacks available too.
Service is great and the dog is just too cute.

The best microbrewery in Ballarat, bar none. The beer is fantastic, tried the others, but 15 years experience really shows in a diverse range of good beer. Went on a weekday, and found tasting area really small.would imagine this would be a problem on weekends.it would be good to see the brewery take the next step and pair with a restaurant. Great food and beer would make Red Duck a must visit in Ballarat. Imagine the Hop Temple with Red Duck beers - heaven.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Red Duck. Even though they were very busy with large groups, they gave us excellent service. Yes, the carpark is small; deal with it, you wouldn't be disappointed. Their beers and gin are delicious.

A great range of beers are available at this cellar door. A small amount of seating is availableb; useful, especially if you bring your own food (which is allowable, commendable and admirable). The only food available is a cheese platter! There are also Gins available. Both the Gin and Beer are brewed and distilled on the premise. I tried the Ragnarock Belgian Quadruple with Chilli - it's not for everyone, but in a Belgian style, was delicious. I also sunk a Midnight Black Stout, again a delicious smooth drop. The only point to note is that there is no draft beer; the keg system is expected around August / September 2019 (which is the only reason the Red Duck gets a 4, not 5!) Definitely worth a visit.

Yeah nah, didnt work for us. We like to check out some of the local breweries when we travel. But there was no where to park, only tiny area for customers with 3 tables. All we wanted were a couple of beers and some softies for the kids. But the server was busy with a customer who wanted to try some different Gin's. After 5 mins of not even being acknowledged, the wife walked out. A simple smile from the server and "I will be with you in a sec" would have helped keep the wife happy long enough to get the transaction done. Poor form.

What a marvellous, wonderful, friendly place. The selection of beer was impressive and reasonably priced. Spent way more time than I expected, due to the fact that the lovely lady at the bar was a real beer affficanado and discussions about beer were relaxed, fun and educational. Highly recommend. BTW try the gin!

Great beer and friendly service, but didn’t really hit the mark as a place to spend a lot of time at - it’s a concrete building in the middle of an industrial park. No food other than packet chips and nuts, and only a very limited selection of beers to try - not really a proper “cellar door” in my opinion if you can’t sample a larger selection, especially given how many fantastic unique seasonal beers this place produces. Didn’t try the recently introduced gins, but they looked good. They are also about to start selling whiskey too.

We arrived on a cold Thursday afternoon and Daryl met us at the cellar door with a smile. We were lucky that it was quiet so we had the place to ourselves and Daryl was kind enough to talk beer, the business and the company's history. We ordered a paddle to share as a taster and then had another few beers before buying 4 limited release take aways.

A small brewery (in physical size) doing big things, with a fantastically diverse range of beers. Exactly what you want a microbrewery to be.

These guys make the most awesome Porter ever. Yummo getting it delivered 150km is well worthwhile:) btw the other reviews are fake this place doesn't do food only beer. Bloody good beer.

Some of the best boutique beer around.

A ton of variety and the guys who brew it have a real passion for what they do.

Try the Porter!

Not sure what the people who complained about the food are about, it's just a Brewery, no food
