Recover Oz did wonders for a family member of mine, helped him understand why he uses, the impact it has on not only himself but the people around him, I watched him mature more than I could imagine and take ownership for his actions, George was very strict on him when he needed to be and helped us as a family all stay on the same page. I highly recommend this rehab they not only support the addict they support the family members with advice. George really cares about the people in his care treats them like family which was very comforting

As a chronic alcoholic and drug addict, having been through many detoxes and rehabs previously and despite catastrophes, deaths, tragedies, found the inability to stay clean and sober for any great length of time. I found this program which is unique to any other program in Victoria. A long term community based rehab that provides not only an understanding of addiction and the behaviour that it manifests, but also life skills, an understanding of oneself and the ability to not only function in the real world but to thrive. The staff are excellent from the director right down to the casuals who have all recovered from their own addictions. Could not recommend this program highly enough. They don’t wrap you up in cotton wool and send you on your way like most rehabs and detoxes. There is no quick fix for addiction and the problems associated with it. RecoverOz knows this and through a proven method helps people not only recover from addiction but build lives that are sustainable and fulfilling.

RecoverOz helped me understand that addiction is not just about any one drug in particular. It's a disease that needs to be attacked, psychologically, physically and spiritually. So grateful to the staff for their tireless efforts, from managing corrections appointments, medical appointments, advocating at court and taking a personal approach made me feel like I was genuinely being saved. Seen as a person not a paycheck.
