25After school one of the assigned school busses goes to ringwood station, everyone gets off the bus.whilst the ligma males walk into the gym, and the pop girls walk into eastland shopping centre, me a sigma male walk into the libary.
Who doesn’t love a library with a cute coffee shop on the ground floor plus free air con and WiFi.
Love this library! Except for the fact that there are always men taking 'work calls' within the study areas, not realising how loud their voices are and not considering there are other people who are also in the library!
Realm Library. Located Across the Road From Ringwood Train Station. Two Stories. Stairs and a Lift. Wheel-chair Friendly. Fiction and Non-Fiction Books Available. Academic Resources very limited. Microsoft Based Computers available. No Apple Computers. Free Wifi. Printing, Coping and scanning documents on to USB available. Professional Staff Available to Assist with Library Resources.
Realm is a really amazing resource for the public. You can go and study there and hang with friends, they have a nice cafe and they have lots of space and facilities for hosting anything from business meetings to creative ventures like art shows and I believe there is a studio there as well. They have all this whilst having a clean and conventional library which has a good range of books. The location is amazing because it is right next to the public transport hub of Ringwood station making it extremely easy to get there and is right next to eastland which can cater to all your shopping needs including some lovely post study restaurants.
Seems like book collection is not very impressive compared to other library? Looks great, but too less book.

Kids should NOT be in here. It is a library for studying not a play space. Have another centre where it's just for kids away from Realm. I understand how kids need social interaction and activities, but just do not have it in here, it is so noisy. It is so annoying trying to study while hearing screams. I just wasted my precious time.
Also do not hold events for kids at Realm, it is unhelpful and unneccesary. Have it somewhere else. After all, it is a library for people to do work.

PLEASEE
Stop having kids events. I swear this happens every couple days, it's really annoying. People NEED to study. You hear screams every 0.5 second.
Just moved into the neighbourhood and had to organise my waste bins. Excellent friendly service by the council staff Argentina and her co worker. Beautiful library too.
Obviously a library but also a great working space. Can be a little loud so take some headphones. Wifi is good but needs library account
Visited Realm for the first time yesterday. The meeting room was spacious and I felt a bit like royalty looking down onto the lower levels. I was a bit disappointed with the lack of accessible onsite assistance. When I wanted to ask if printing was available there was no one available to assist. This meant we couldn’t print and was inconvenient. However, the location is fantastic and I would recommend it for meeting room hire.
Well done to the city council for building this impressive library that is well suited to the 21st century.
I like eastern regional libraries, have newer books compare to Whitehorse libraries. If Australia libraries figure out a way to borrow on Kindle, that will be even better
An excellent library and a quiet space to read and relax. Comfortable seating arrangements and plenty of study desks and computers are available for use by the general public. Lots of natural light makes it that much better. Great location too right opposite the Ringwood station.
Obviously a library but also a great working space. Can be a little loud so take some headphones
This is by far the most sensational library in the Eastern Regional area. The library has the widest variety of books - both fiction and non-fiction. There is ample study space for everyone with powerplugs at each table to charge your devices. Realm is nice and warm during the winter months creating a beautiful environment to sit and read a book. Speaking of sitting and reading, there are many chairs and seating spots scattered throughout the library to do so. The views from the library further contribute to its amazingness. If you have the choice between Knox and Realm definitely choose Realm. Knox library is dark and decrepit and seriously due for a reno or relocation. The Realm library is such an open, warm and inviting space. It will definitily be my go to library in the Eastern Regional area.
One of the best libraries I've been too, with three stories there's plenty of room to sit quietly, alongside free wifi and a great Cafe with good staff, Realm Ringwood is a perfect hangout spot with direct access to Eastland for all your shopping needs
Realm library is one of the finest I have come across in the eastern suburbs. It has got a wonderful atmosphere and they offer great events for kids too. I really enjoy spending time here reading or studying and the cafe just below is a quick access for coffee so great location as well! And, not to forget, its open even on weekends and later in evenings on weekdays which is perfect for a working mom like me.
Really user friendly experience, with very nice staff and librarians that are so eager to help you have the best experience at Realm. Books are in great quality and this is far better than other library institutions as fines have been abolished, also the infrastructure is 22nd Century. Highly recommended you check it out
Basically a child daycare centre with kids screaming all the time, not enough places to sit. The tables are communal which is awkward. If you want a quiet place to study or work you have to PAY a membership fee to access level 3.
Individual desk spaces are limited, and these desks don't have a lot of legroom. They face the windows, which would've had a nice view of the outside (facing the mountains) but are obstructed due to the unconventional architecture which not only obstructs the view but considerably lessens the amount of natural light coming in through the windows.
One other thing to point out is that the kids play area (2F) makes the whole library considerably noisier, from both the kids and the parents talking. I personally think that a library should not be a play area for kids or a place for parents to chat and rather, a quiet place to read or study. The 3rd floor is basically pointless, it's a paid members only floor and doesn't seem to be a part of the actual library. Would've been great if the 3rd floor was also open to the public.
