Readings State Library reviews
11 Highly recommended, a great place to read and use wifi
There are many different spaces to read
The Readings' store was beyond my expectations, I literally spent a couple of hours browsing in the store. Every single item was so cute. One of my favorite places.
It is a wonderful, serene, marvellous place. Books, kind staff, cafe. Read with a coffee, what else could you do?
It is a small shop with a general collection. I went there looking for some academic books and disappointed.
Victoria state library is one of the iconic architecture building on Swanston Street of Melbourne. It is open every day from 10 am to 6 pm. Huge collection of books, magazines, daily newspapers. Great place for research for students and entrepreneurs. Worth becoming a member for those who love reading and exploring.
The best place in Melbourne where studying and working is possible and in perfect relaxing place.
The staff are gentle and nice.
All the services are very efficient.
What a beautiful building. I have to admit I did get lost in here. The architecture is stunning, the gallery is very nice, the book shop is also lovely. I'd love to come here again and see more.
Situated in magnificent State Library. The staff were most helpful. A good range of both Australian & International fiction and non- fiction.
Huge collection, nice vibe, a perfect quiet place for you to read a book. The Wifi, unfortunately, is extremely low. If you are looking for a quiet place with fast Wifi, go for the City Library instead.
21/10/17. Paid for items, then told 'put them in a bag if you want'. Because using the internet was more important than customer service you get paid for, especially working in a store that has customers. Go elsewhere. No wonder people buy online, arrogance need not apply!
