Reading Cinemas Traralgon reviews
33Really good atmosphere. Friendly staff and very comfy seats. I was impressed by the menu too
I found the cinema ok good seating but a little different atmosphere compared to larger opposition but would recommend.
Went to see the Super Mario Bros film as my former SIL bought me a voucher for my birthday. Film was ok.
First visit to the cinema. Have been curious about it for a while.
The seats were comfy, wider than I expected and temperature was good. Not cool as cinemas normally are. I was ok in short sleeves.
Had the usual food and drink options available but didn't take advantage.
As it's nextdoor to the Mantra and the Butter Factory a whole experience of dinner, film and an o/night stay could be an indulgence package.
Staff very helpful, however the lack of good lighting in Cinema One was virtually non existence, making way to seating very difficult & very dangerous, especially for the more mature patrons.
Comfortable leather seating, hot popcorn Cold drinks and a variety of icecream flavours!
- Side note, the home made icecreams are actually bigger than Village Morwell icecreams.
- I believe the popcorn tastes nicer than Village Morwell as well. I love both cinemas but comparing the two this is what I have found.
My family and I booked tickets for a movie on Monday Afternoon. My mum wasn’t feeling well so I called up and booked the tickets for Tuesday, only to find out after I called that my brother was working then, so I called up again and rebooked them for Wednesday. Both times I called and rebooked, Courtney helped me and was amazing.she was so understanding and couldn’t have had better customer service skills.we live in sale and make the drive to Traralgon because of how great the staff are at the Reading Cinema.we will always choose to go here. The food is great, best cinema seats around and the customer service is top notch. Thank you Courtney for being so lovely and to all of the staff. Could not recommend this place more.
My low score is only cause I paid almost $300 for 10 tickets (5 adults, 5 kids), 5 x (1 large popcorn/2 drink couples combos), and 5 ice creams…and to save us having to sit all together I asked for 5 small empty boxes so we could split the large popcorn and they charged me 2.50. It’s not about the money, i just spent 150 next door, and 300 with you and you can’t shout me 5 empty boxes? …that’s just a petty gripe of mine but Cinema was modern and clean and seats were really comfy.
No better way than to spend a rainy morning at the movies. Mrs Harris goes to Paris.was lovely
Great cinema, the screen was nice and bright, clean too. On a hot day, the cinema itself was actually quite cool, I should have brought a jacket with me. The staff were friendly and helpful. The ticket prices were good too. The toilets were clean as well and regularly serviced. We'll be back!
Hello all.
As a totally blind i liked attending this Cinima because of the headset they had for Audio description which can be used on all the movies i think not just selected movies like most cinemas Have.
What i disliked about them is they don’t except C companion Cards for some one else who attends with a disability person.
The move i seen at the time was the Elvis Movie.
Well priced, wheelchair accessible and not overcrowded. Seating is a bit uncomfortable though
Clean and tidy and a bit more intimate than the bigger cinemas I've been too. Good parking underneath aswell.
Seats comfy and clean. Food expensive and kids seats at adult cost. Very expensive to take kids and buy food.
Parking underneath good. Slow lift. Only 1 staff food bar/tickets, everything slows right down. Popcorn stale and cold, heat lamps not used? Drum sticks soggy? Cinema clean and new, nice smell of new leather. Great bass sound that you can feel it. Concession and adult tickets are same price. The thumps and bangs from the bowling alley down stairs permeate through the floor and walls. Very intimate ie doesnt appear to be getting much use,? Child tickets dearer than Morwell.
Only been here once, but I will definitely be back. Very comfortable seats, lovely staff & the choc top was yum
Love the cinemas, wished they had reclining seats but the seats are great big and comfy.
Friendly staff, love the choc tops!
Very impressed with this cinema, it's always clean and tidy, it is well designed and the movie artworks are great additions. Staff are friendly and the self serve ticket options are great for busy times. We will definitely visit again.
Big comfy seats, great sound and picture has you would expect.
Good range of food on offer if you want the whole experience.
I'm livid tonight as booked my tickets on line yesterday and got to the cinema early, then had to wait in line for 20 minutes, while people were taking their time choosing food and seats at their leisure. Staff get the one star that lve given as they are very friendly and helpful, Reading cinemas pick up your game, more staff needed.
Cinema is very comfy, great seats, but we were all cold throughout the movie.
Temperature needs to be adjusted.
