Reading Cinemas Melton reviews
46Had the pleasure of watching wonka with my girls, staff were great and the popcorn made to perfection
Definitely no need to travel to the big chain guys to see a movie and it's half the price too
Went to watch the 4: 30 season of mission impossible so sad that parents bought their young children and let them run havoc during the movie
I'm very disappointed in the experience today to see 4.30pm session to Mission Impossible movie. I didn't think I was in a movie theatre but a daycare centre for under aged children, the constant noise of children crying and running around was disruptive and annoying, Reading Cinema Melton you really have to lift your game, I don't know if I will comeback again!
Just an average small cinema. Popcorn tasted stale. Customer service was average we ended up in a 3D session without the appropriate glasses.
An average cinema. We went on a warm day to escape the heat but it was hot and stuffy. Management must be cost cutting by not running the AC.
Watched Avatar: Way of Water in 3D and the experience was terrible. Ghosting and blurry image. Do not recommend watching films in 3D in this cinema.
A great place to go to for a night out with the Mrs or take the kids to see the newest release movies very affordable tickets so hit the super market for snacks as it's where it blows the budget!
Always great. Great prices and helpful staff, but theatres themselves were messy with full bins
It's only small by comparison to the big multi cinemas. But it's affordable, clean and friendly staff.
Went to an afternoon movie for the first time in years, it was a busy movie and there we're people everywhere but we we're still able to have a wonderful experience, the staff were very accommodating, the cinemas were clean.
Beautifully warm theatre on a cold night.
EDIT: if your cinema keeps having issues, take the cinema off line until resolved. "Oh we keep having issues with it" Is not enough, this is on thr owners, staff of the day were super nice, but if you've got issues close that cinema screen. Unfortunately will not be returning anytime soon
Good prices access the board, cinema could use a little update in the future as one of the screens you can see a tape mark and marks on the screen, but it's a good local cinema with plenty of new releases and an excellent price
One of my favourite place to watch movies. Always less crowded. Very good customer service from the counter. And of course, Reading is lot cheaper than Hoyt's.
Couple of girls talking and laughing throughout the entire film. Noticed other couples getting up and leaving because of it. When we went out to let staff know, there was no one around so we ended up leaving. Most likely won't be going back for this very reason
Cheaper than the other brands. They have several partly blown speakers and marks on some screens. Needs some upkeep.
Bought tickets and snacks online and when we arrived we still had to line up to collect our snacks.
The line was really long and it was only one line for tickets and snack bar-not like it used to be with one ticket line and one snack bar line. Don't know why they have changed it to one line for tickets and snacks but it does not work and they need to change it back, or make a line where people that have already purchased their tickets and/or snacks online can collect their items.
(Luckily there was a lady that approached me at the back of the line to ask me if i would like to join her family in the line because they were near the front of the line and had heard the Staff tell me that i had to go to the back of the line, which I did and appreciated very much)
Was good but we booked online hoping to skip the que and there was nowhere to skip the que, there was an option online to say we were arriving and food would be prepared for us but we still had to line up and then wait, would be a good idea to have a seperate line for ppl who have pre booked so they can skip the que
We went to Readings Cinemas Melton 12.45pm session to see Dog. A million people were waiting to pay for ticekts etc, and only 2 staff serving. Absolutely Terrible service
Shame shame shame! Reading Cinema's. Stood in line with some people who had preodered their tickets and food online. Due to the amount of patrons at the movies they were told they had to join the que, to collect their food even though they had purchased the tickets, because they had to collect food. Patrons around me were frious as their movies had already started at 3: 00pm and they were still waiting to collect thier food at 3: 30pm, ABSOLUTE DISGRACE!
Been coming for years, on Saturday night the male staff member was incredibly rude and arrogant. Will be going somewhere else for now on
