Tickets are slightly cheaper compared to Hoyts and Village. So happy that there are reclining seats too! Didn't engage with staff but it was a relaxed environment and seemed clean too.

If you want to watch a movie for free this is the place to go. First time there and there are never any staff at the counter and no one checks tickets

We had noisey kids in our MA movie. I asked them to be quiet and they continued so I went to the desk to complain. No one was there. I yelled out to the kitchen 3 times. Still nothing. After waiting there over 8 minutes I went into the luxe cinema and there was 1 staff member cleaning. I explained to him whT was happening and nothing was done about it. The kids continued throughout the whole move, with more kids coming and going as they pleased. Really disappointing experience and I won't be back.

Loved these cinemas, homely, intimate, comfy reclining chairs, at least six cinemas from memory, tasteful furnishings, beautiful clean toilets, and the most beautiful hand soap I've ever smelled.

Had a group of unsupervised 10yo boys who talked and ran around most of the movie.
No ushers.
Basically if bad behaviour its up to patron to police, they don't check. Spoilt the movie for us.

I would like to give a big shout out to reading cinema burwood.

Recently my girlfriend and I went to see Avatar and unfortunately, my girlfriend had an allergic reaction to some medication and we had to rush to the hospital.

The staff at reading cinema were very understanding and held our tickets for us so we could come and back to the movie at a later date.

Thank you very much guys, you're the best

Reading Cinemas Burwood is a fantastic cinema.
Very modern with comfortable wide reclining seats as standard and sharp vivid projection.
The staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, and the ticket prices are quite low compared with their big competitors.

Wow! Super comfortable seats. A little annoying when your neighbour uses your mini table as well as their own.but a great cinema and great experience.

To be honest I don't want to rate this as 5 stars as I don't want it to become too popular. The tix are cheaper than other cinrmas, the seats are all comfy and recliners, it is simple to book online or in person, the staff are few but friendly. It's a great local cinema for us. We are 10mins drive to about 5 cinemas, but I prefer Reading Burwood, for convenience of parking, location and ease. Just don't everyone go here as it is my secret venue!

Perfect cinema to spend the weekends! The tickets are half in price of that in the city. The adjustable chairs are so cool. The screens are big and the sounds are wonderful. Like the friendly staff here as well.

Reading is the premium in cinema going. Comfort and cleanliness at a reasonable price. Nearly $10 plus in price difference from competitors. Easy choice

By far the best cinema out there. What you normally get in Gold Class (Village) or La Premiere (HOYTS) you get it at Readings Cinema as a normal ticket. Great value for your money.

Cinemas are great. Only missing a star because it took a long time to be served to buy tickets even when no food/drink purchases were wanted. There should be a seperate que for people that just want tickets or someone to show tickets to at the main entrance.

Too expensive at $14 a seat for us pensioners. Maybe if you lowered the price you might fill more seats
