Rayville Boat Houses

My "Penthouse" weekend stay was appallingly woeful. Place was in dilapidated condition. Roof was leaking in heavy rains resulting in serious knee injuries happening to me. Live in host Amanda conceded awareness of the leak, and explained that attempts had been made to repair but had not been successful.
I asked to fill an incident report upon check out but my request was ignored.
In a follow up phone call, that I made, the owner was abhorrent to communicate with. His ignorance and non existent compassion for my plight was astounding. There was not an apology extended or even a scerrick of interest shown for the sufferance inflicted as a direct result, of their negligence and utter failure, in their feeble attempts to provide a safe and well maintained property. Further action can be expected.

My family and I stayed here for a night. It was the perfect location and walking distance to the beach, park, shops and restaurants. The accommodation was lovely and clean. Communication with the host was friendly and welcoming.

It is a wonderful place for a family holiday – Steve and Amanda was super helpful with everything we need.

Spent 4 lovely nights here with my family. Plenty of space in our villa (with upstairs terrace!). Bedrooms and bathroom downstairs with living and kitchen up top. Free use of kayaks and boogie boards with the beach and harbour 5mins away. Firewood is supplied everyday for the woodburner. Car parking is alittle tight, but we got a Territory in there no probs. Appliances probably need an update but im really nitpicking here! Amanda was great and very helpful. Would definitely go back, and would recommend. Cheers, K and R.

Great Place, great location, Amanda the manager was so lovely, the Villa was Cozy & spotlessly clean, the fireplace was A bonus very enjoyable, Will definitely be back!

Fantastic location, walking distance to the ocean, the golf course and fishing Co-op. A wine by the wood fired heater (supplemented by electric thermostat heaters) is a great way to end an adventurous winters day.

Loved the unit 'penthouse' with a fantastic view. Position to town perfect for a walk for coffee or a night meal. Very clean.

Highly recommended. This place is absolutely what you need to relax, enjoy and recharge. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Location is conveniently near restaurants and shops. Rooms are very clean and comfortable.

Great way to spend the weekend away! Steve was very helpful while booking the accom directly over the phone and got better pricing than through other platforms. They also accomated children at no extra cost and the place was amazing. The while fam loved it! We will be back. Special thanks to Steve!

This was once a gem of a place to stay in Apollo Bay - about 4 stars. Now it is getting run-down and is back to 1 star. This time we stayed in the 3 bedroom villa with our adult children and our grandchildren. We had talked up the place due to our previous stays.
The carpet was dirty, some of the dishes and cutlery weren’t washed, the floorboards were sinking, the taps were leaking and one broke off. The spa bath didn’t work.
Needs a lot of upgrading to get back anywhere near 4 stars.

The house is immaculately clean and staff are very friendly. Check in is very easy and communication is prompt. This is a perfect place to relax and just enjoy with family or friends. Highly recommended.

This place is at good location with golf course next to it. Rooms are neat and clean. Amenities are good.

Absolutely beautiful place. We liked the wood fires after a long drive and the beautiful wooden houses. Also, the easy walk to the restaurants in town. Clean. Friendly people.

Booking last minute was easy. Easy to find and the location was great. Even though the rooms were self serviced they could have been a little more generous with the inclusions for the price. Tea and coffee etc. Bathroom windows also faced a commonly used walkway for the other guests but only half of them were frosted which may allow someone on the outside to see in while you're enjoying the spa bath.

Really nice accomodation, the owners are really available if you need and it's clean and tidy. I really recommend for families or friends for a great weekend
