High quality content starting to build up improving the offering as a whole -was a bit less than I like at first. I especially like the recent addition of the buy idea section and the growing investment research - I would like the addition of buy ranges at the top for stocks. Looking forward to the online forum getting a bit more traffic as more people join and the Rask Events are a nice bonus for subscribers. It suits all investors from beginner to more advanced with handy tutorials for those that want to improve their own knowledge. A good alternative for those that don't want or need an adviser but would like some wealth and investing guidance.

Rask Invest provides high quality information. Would definitely recommend that anyone who is interested in learning about their finances and starting to invest in shares.

I have subscribed to a couple of share picking/investment newsletters, and I do admit that the Rask Group is one of the best. The information presented within the Rask Invest Portfolio and ETF research is clear and well researched.

If you are after dividend picks for retirement I am not sure, at this time, if the Rask Invest Portfolio is for you.

If you are after both International and Australian buy recommendations, watchlist companies, that are generally tech focused without being too speculative or risky I believe that Rask Invest provides good value.

It appears that the Rask Invest service is small enough for Owen (the Boss) and Cathryn (his Chief Analyst) to respond on the forums, and when they put in a buy recommendation the stock price does not shoot up unlike some of the other services subscribed to seem to achieve.

How have the picks performed? Honestly, I've only been a member for 3 months and it does take time for the trees to bear fruit. I've bought one recent recommendation which is up 20% and 2 old international recommendations which are up 2% and 1.5%.

This is a great service with a tonne of resources around how to learn more about investing. I also really enjoy the regular information to members about future investment opportunities with a strong focus on making sure that everything is easy to understand. Absolutely recommend this service.

I have been a Rask Invest member for the past 6 months now and have found the information really helpful with building my portfolio.

There is plenty of good information for people getting their finances in order beyond investing and this is where I would recommend new members start before looking for ways to put their money into the share market.

I found Rask Invest when I was trying to find a replacement for Barefoot Investor and for all intents and purposes this is the closes alternative I have found. The costs are roughly the same, as is the advice, though Rask provides 2 clear investment streams (ETF only portfolio vs.an ETF + Shares portfolio). Having both options is very useful for new investors as this ETFs are generally a safer/simpler approach when you are just getting started.

Individual share recommendations are detailed and useful though if comparing Rask's information to the Barefoot Blueprint I think that the Blueprint laid out it's stocks more clearly (single page nicely formatted) and Barefoot also used to give a recommendation as to what price they thought you should buy at. Rask provides a buy/hold/sell recommendation for stocks and is upfront about their interest and risks which is important when taking advice. They also provide a 5 day delay between when they recommend a specific purchase.

In my opinion the 5 day delay is misinterpreted by a lot of new people into thinking the that Rask is giving you an advantage, as though the stock price will be cheaper if you buy it in those 5 days. In reality what they are saying is that within the short term, it doesn't really matter when you buy the stock, even if it goes up a little bit in those 5 days, they still think it's worth buying at that price. (Never forget that this is a business for Rask, so if they lose money on a stock they can write it off more effectively than you can as an individual investor).

Bottom line is that I found what I was after with Rask. It is a company's investment portfolio recommendations BUT you will not find advice on individual stocks or investments.

One negative is that they do not update their recommendations on all portfolio items on a monthly basis, just the movers.

Do your own research and supplement it with Rask

Ive only been with RI for a couple of weeks, joining as a full member helped me get the courage to start my investing journy, something ive been thinking of starting for over 10 years. (ouch) I highly recomend Owen and his team, they have great insights and smart and easy models to make sound investing decisions. What are you waiting for?

Good library on a broad range of financial topics. Solid performance (albeit limited time frame) on the model portfolio. The newly added watch list has been very insightful and a welcome addition.

I have really enjoyed the education, market commentary and investment ideas which Rask Invest have produced this past year. With a fantastic return rate and deep insights into the Australian and International markets given through the platform, Owen and the team are quick to respond to any questions, comments or thoughts you might put forth. On top of this, the Rask podcasts are fantastic and should be on the subscription list of anyone who wants to invest in the ASX or US markets. Even if you just want to take time to consider your current financial state and plan for your future, you need to soak in this content. Owen is an insightful and thoughtful host who really pays attention to detail and listens to his audience.

Best decision I have made. Was struggling to get ahead but after signing up to the paid service and using the budgeting tips I am so much happier and now have money. Add to that the stock tips which are pretty much all winners. I wish I’d had this service offered from a younger age. Owen and the team. Keep up the great work. If I could give 6 stars I would. Share recommendations are informative and provide clear reasoning for their recommendations to that others have enough information to determine on their own whether this is something the individual investor would also be comfortable investing into. Tends to look from several viewpoints. They also appear to be open and honest about their performance, having consistently mentioning that their recent highly positive results arise from outperformance in a single stock.

I would recommend this service, given the above, and also the fact that there is little overhyping of performance, and the authors are transparent.
