Rapid Building Inspections Melbourne

Old mate, with an attitude rocks up with his iPad has a walk around for 30 minutes then wants $600.2 months later roof leaks and so obviously didn't even look at the roof! Tick and flick job. Poor service.

Inspector didn’t notice many severe major defects. I understand they are basic inspections but the showers didn’t even drain on my new build, walls weren’t sanded before being painted, windows had no seals on them, grout was missing in the shower, none of which they detected by the inspector.
The very quick 30 minute inspection ended in “yep looks good” and a very generic report.
I later received a phone call asking for my feedback, which I gave and was told management would contact me. It’s been 3 weeks and no one has contacted me.
I had to pay a different company to come out and they did a much better job in the same amount of time.
Rapid Building Inspections is a complete waste of money

Very poor inspection. Missed a leak from a dodgy box gutter despite being up on a ladder to check the roof in that very corner. Extensive water damage inside, clearly visible if the inspector had bothered to bend over to look under a desk.
Also missed water damage along the skirting in the dining area.
Rapid showed no interest in their shortcomings. Stay well clear

I am not happy and in agreement with my property inspection. The moisture in the house is wrongly assessed to be very very high and this has given me a lot of stress due to transaction being cancelled. I have got few guys engaged to check the moisture in the walls who confirmed that there is absolutely no issue with this.

It was a good experience, I had to get the inspection done in 2 days and the team was very helpful in arranging inespection and sharing the report after few hours of inspection.

Pre-purchase inspection was organized timely, but the report was one of the worst I've seen. They were not interested in dialog.

Shocking report handed over. We have seen a number of reports in the past but these guys surely handed over a report that justified the payment charged. Some of the comments were not practical and pay have even effected the overall building warranty.

My family recently had a property on the market. A “minor defect” was listed for a damaged corner on a piece of furniture in the ensuite. It was not an inbuilt cabinet, it was a cube storage shelf from ikea that would be moving with us when we left the house. From my understanding, building reports/inspections do not include the condition of the occupants personal furniture.

Although it was funny to see it formally written into the report, with a photograph beside it… if the inspector is unsure if something is in fact furniture or inbuilt joinery, they should ask, because these reports can have an affect on the sale price.

Needed a quick turnaround on a pre-purchase building & pest inspection report - I called them at 4: 30pm and they were able to book it in for 9: 00am the next morning. Had the report at 4: 30pm on the day of the inspection. Called the inspector Brad and he helped to clarify specific issues identified in the inspection report, the work that would be required to rectify the issues, and provided some ballpark cost estimates, which has been critical in determining the maximum offer we can make on the house.

These guys were extremely thorough with their assessment of my new property. Eddie was very helpful and was able to explain any defects. I really appreciated how quickly they attended to the inspection from the time I first enquired. Would definitely recommend.
