Ranges Equestrian Center

My 2 kids have been coming to Rangers Equestrian for 2 years now and they love it. They are really enjoying their group lessons and the easy going horses. Even tho we have our own horses the girls still have a lot of learning to do. I have recommended a few people to join Rangers and their kids are loving it.

My daughter is loving the experience of learning about and riding horses. The instructors are very patient and kind.

I took my 8 year old daughter there for the holiday program and she loved it. There was an indoor arena and an outdoor ride, plus grooming. The ponies were all different sizes and are matched to the kids accordingly.
If we lived closer I would have booked her for more regular lessons. We’ll be back next holidays. Highly recommended.

We love ranges, especially my daughter. Ranges provides very professional riding instructors and very well trained school horses. Great atmosphere and always willing to accomodate any needs.

My children loved learning about grooming their ponies as much as learning to ride. Credit is due to your instructors creating such a safe and fun environment.

I particularly loved how you got them to take the saddle off and have a go bare back which of course involved lots of giggles. They are still talking about it and cannot wait to come back. They want to meet Spunky! ;) Thank you! We highly reccomend!

What a beautiful centre. Growing up with horses I had the most amazing childhood. Now an adult living in Melbourne I whole heartedly wish that my kids could have grown up just as fortunate. When I came across Ranges equestrian holiday program I jumped at the chance to sign my 7 and 10 year old up. We were greeted by very friendly staff who were wonderful with the kids. The children's eyes lit up seeing the ponies. The ponies were all very quiet and perfect for a group of kids just starting out. The interaction between the staff and children was fantastic. Friendly, encouraging and funny - there were lots of giggles. I felt very nostalgic watching my kids down in the arena and spent most of my time at ranges with a big smile on my face. It brought me so much joy seeing my kids with that new found love of horses in their eyes.   I don't think there was anyone not wearing a smile. Everyone was so happy. I love that Ranges educate not just on riding, but horse care too.   They had volunteers helping out with the holiday program which was wonderful for those kids and showed Ranges equestrian sense of community. Cue my memories of binge watching the saddle club - if you want that vibe. That one big horsey family. Ranges is it. My shy daughter really came out of her shell here and said it was one of the most amazing days of her life. She was smitten with Roxy the pony in particular. I'm sure she would love spunky too. We can't wait to hopefully come back again soon

Fantastic staff and centre with bonus views. We’ve been attending the school for a couple of years now. Spunky is definitely the kids favourite pony to ride.

Ranges is the riding school to go to if you'd like to learn more than just the physical side of riding. Owner and coach, Yvonne, has an incredible way of ensuring all her students have an understanding of what it means to work with the horse, as well as the importance of horse care. All horses and ponies are incredibly well loved and taken car of and every coach has an in-depth knowledge of their personalities and needs. There's no better riding school around.

The best riding school in Victoria! Yvonne and her staff made me feel so welcome, I had a really great experience and will be having more lessons.

Our 6 year old has done the school holiday camp a couple of times and have loved it. The location is beautiful, the horses are lovely and the people who run the session are so good with the kids.

Lovely setting, the staff there are really friendly. My granddaughter absolutely loves going riding up there.

Fantastic trainers who provide a safe, fun & educational filled environment for young riders who do not have ponies at home. Highly recommend both lessons, saddle club & the holiday program!

I have been to ranges several times and every one of them have been amazing. The volunteers are so kind, and they hve taught me so much.

I love the care and attention they place on the horses and the riders. Yvonne is a brilliant teacher, she is patient, kind and authentic. I love that the horses are really well looked after.

My daughter had a wonderful (and safe) few days in December 2017. The staff were both knowledgeable and friendly. The farm land itself is beautiful with amazing views. I highly recommend this centre!

What a great experience we have had at Ranges. The staff are so professional and friendly, including Yvonne the owner, who always makes the parents and riders feel welcome. The main instructor, Katie, is fantastic- she has heaps of energy for the kids, a great sense of humour (makes us parents laugh too), and at the same time is strict enough to be able to control the whole class and horses. My daughter is more on the cheeky side, but Katie and the other girls know just how to handle her. My daughter loves going to horse riding. In fact, when we moved further away from the school, we continued going to Ranges, despite the 1.5hr drive so that says a lot. Thank you so much Range's Equestrian!

Excellent horse riding lessons for all levels from beginner to advanced. Saddle club is very good for younger riders. Great horses, friendly instructors.
