Rambling Rose Gift & Home reviews
13Fantastic service and even better coffee! We were so thankful for the recommendations the lovely lady and gentlemen serving had for us on our trip up the coast. Gift shop to die for
Perfect service, food and vibes. Stopped while driving to Sydney. It’s raining heavily and they had a wood fire. Beautiful coffee and the raspberry friand came with a saucer of cream. They were happy to accomodate my annoying dietary requirements and opened the lunch menu early for us.
Nice quiet place for a coffee and snack. Busy, but staff are efficient and great attitude. Very friendly.
Rambling Rose is always so nice to visit, great giftware and the coffee shop is brilliant.
Fabulous as always. Love the outdoor area at the rear. Great food, coffee, juice & shopping.
If you like eating at South Yarra, with South Yarra prices, eat at rambling rose. On special @ $19 bruscetta with avocado, got one small piece of toast, with avo, lots of cherry tomatoes about a teaspoon of? Crumbled (tasteless) feta. That was is. As for taste at best 5 out of 10. Still very hungry at end and very disappointed. I'd get more @ $4.99 with a kids meal at Maccas. And yes I will get a kids meal next time.
Traveling home we met up with some relatives for lunch here (not our first choice but other places were still not operating or had ceased to exist due to Covid) Anyway the service we received was excellent and the restaurant was well set out allowing oùr group to be comfortably seatéd and we enjoyed at leást 2 hours there. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced and the staff were pleasant and efficient overall my first experience with this restaurant will see me return next time we travel to this area. The only criticism I will like to make is not concerning the restaurant but the local parking restrictions nearby (one hour parking) we walked for about 500mt from some carpark that allowed unrestricted parking and although I personally don't mind a bit of a walk, if the weather had not been pleasant we máy have given up the idea of spending a few hours and our money here and continued to the next town.
An absolutely gorgeous range of homewares. Perfect place to find a gift for someone and the staff were really lovely too.free gift wrapping was unexpected bonus.
We absolutely enjoyed a beautiful scone with jam and cream and delicious gluten-free friand, accompanied by excellent coffee and hot chocolate at this cafe today. The service was also very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Thank you to the team at Rambling Rose Cafe - we have no hesitation in recommending you.
Very expensive for a country town - $19+ for two eggs, one piece of toast, and hollandaise is pretty steep.
The hollandaise also had a very off putting taste, almost like they put curry powder in it.
Sometimes when you're on the drive home and think you want a nice cafe meal, its best to just to go McDonalds.
The look from the outside invites you in. The colours, where all the stock is placed, love it. The staff, beautiful smiles, let you look by yourself, but ask if they an help. Will definitely go back
Coffee store is a cute little area. The staff are polite and the coffee isn’t bad either. Something in Benalla in abundance is coffee shops, but they deliver.
A very popular cafe in Benalla, nice light meals, cakes and of course all the varieties of coffee. We have coffee at Rambling Rose regularly and are never disappointed.
