Ramada Resort by Wyndham Phillip Island reviews
52 Our first holiday out in more than two decades, we choose Phillip Island.
We booked for three nights at the Ramada, not knowing what to expect.
But our experience was understatement to whatever I say.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The rates were affordable.
Our villa was nice, clean and very hygienic, especially toilet, shower and kitchen.
We had an awesome time.
It was home away from home, stress free.
Our two special needs boys also adjusted well.
This is not a goodbye as we will definitely be back.
We will recommend all our friends and family.
We had an amazing experience from start to finish.
We will rate 10 stars for our experience.
Wonderful stay. Perfect for families. We didn't leave the resort. Pool was such a winner! Can't wait to spend more time there next stay.
There is no need to look any further. Make this your accommodation for your stay at Phillip Island. Everything is here and very central to everything on Phillip Island. Staff are fantastic, rooms have comfortable beds and great kitchen facilities. Totally recommend
Really old place with cabins in a haphazard arrangement.your views are your adjacent cabins toilet or plumbing. Overgrown vegetation throughout. Rooms were clean but old furniture and non functional jetbath. The term 'resort' is misleading so not worth the cost at all.
Amazing resort! The 2 bdr suite was nicer than you see online and very big the resort has so much to offer, we loved the private indoor swim spa and the restaurant was delicious the staff that work here are so lovely and helpful. Enjoyed our stay we will only book here now on for our Phillip island trips
Great place to stay. Loved the spa, we could have it to ourselves. Just had to book a time.
If you want to unplug for a few days, this is the place to do it! Stayed in a character filled self contained cabin, woke to the sound of birdsong every day. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Great indoor/outdoor restaurant with an open fire. Special shoutout to 'Jack' the next-level Mixologist for making some fun cocktails:).
What was a nice touch was, that hours out from Lockdown Mk 6, the Team still put logs on the firepit, and offered an extensive takeaway menu for guests. Day 1 of lockdown, the Team all assembled with smiles to bid guests farewell. Thanks everyone, we can't wait to return!
PS. Tip for travellers.take your gumboots, not because its muddy (more sandy) but that way you can stroll through the park and not wet your day shoes.
Villas are quite dated and property feels more like a caravan park (with cabins). Independent villas offer privacy with space for parking 2- 3 cars. The poolside Cafe is good and spacious with a limited options. Staff is wonderful and extremely courteous. Resort has great potential to be luxurious which it isn't currently.
We glad you to enjoy the room will stay here at each accommodation venue in Phillip Island and explore few things to come here, have a good long weekend.
More spacious & country style resort. For the amount of cabins, not enough Amenities, but you can do more in Philip Island.
A country resort set in beautiful bush on the outskirts of Cowes. Each villa is surrounded by native vegetation, and has walking tracks taking you to various locations around the resort. An added bonus for us was discovering a gorgeous pair of Cape Barren Geese with goslings at foot!
Always a lovely little getaway. It's always nice to feel like you're far away from everything when you open the curtains to see possums or other wildlife.
Lovely family winter getaway. We were very impressed with our room. The room was clean and comfortable, great facilities for adults and children of all ages, restaurant was amazing Friendly and helpful Staff. Will definitely be back.
The units are well equipped and neat, the layout glorious and facilities including the Flametree restaurant good too.
Feels like staying in country with great services at Ramada Philip Island. Nice villas with great amenities within resort plus great for walk, exercise, swimming and riding bikes. Must go place
Beautiful surroundings and plenty to see and do. Staff were absolutely awesome. Superb meals, villa was modern, clean and fresh. Highly recommend this resort.
We love this place, a lot to see and do and everything you need is at the resort. Pools, spas, a restaurant and a kids gaming room (gold coins required) we stayed a week and it still wasn’t long enough. Book the pedal karts and ride around the place too.
Expensive at 500 per night for a cabin but the facility was very nice had alot there only downside was paying so much for an over night stay we couldn't use any of it
Cafe service was so poor and staff was so rude. After waiting for an hour when questioned staff advised if you want we can refund. Food was also average
The resort is showing it's age. Needs thorough maintenance. The timber decking needs a good revive.
Other than that, the resort is alright. The beds are coming of age and perhaps need to be replaced. I am sure the monthly maintenance fee that Wyndham charges can be used to revive this excellent resort.
Also Need bigger trash cans in the villas.
