Ramada Resort by Wyndham Ballarat reviews
55We had the best Christmas break spent in the hotel. So relaxed and we enjoyed all the amenities esp the jumping castle for the kiddos
Had the pleasure of staying at Club Wyndham recently for a short break with family. We arrived very late in the evening after reception hours and I was worried we’d have trouble checking in. We were greeted by the friendly night manager and shown to our room quickly, hassle free. My 3 kids and I stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The resort is beautiful and charming and I especially loved reading about its history. The grounds are well maintained and peaceful and had everything needed to keep the kids busy. They especially loved the heated swimming pool and the pedal boats. Staff are lovely and always greeted you with a smile. It was our first time visiting Ballarat but hardly left the resort as we just loved it so much.
Thank you for a memorable stay.

Our stay at Club Wyndham was AWESOME! The staff is SO friendly and courteous, the place is beautiful, it's reasonably close to Sovereign Hill (if that's in your plans), and I 100% recommend staying here.
Very pretty looking rooms And extremely well kept. The pool was the perfect temperature and was not cold even though it was 7 pm. I definitely recommend it.
Heritage-listed mansion built in 1878 on an idyllic 55-acre retreat of manicured lawns, gorgeous gardens, and a sparkling lake ideal for fishing and boating. Converted into full self-contained rooms. The staff were all very knowledgeable on the history of the building, which is a plus in my books.
This resort offers a very different experience. Lovely staff and well maintained historical buildings. The apartments are large and thoughtfully stocked. They have provided so much for families to do for fun there. We loved it.
Great staff and service. Nothing to fault. Many local attractions not open which was disappointing
Generous and well appointed accommodation in the renovated 1870s building. Picturesque grounds, plenty of amenities and activities. A quiet, out-of-town location with easy access to restaurants and shops. Helpful staff.
We had is wonderful time here, this beautiful estate combines Heritage and modern style. Hospitality was wonderful and so much to explore within the hotel and surrounding.
Not far away from the city. The location is also close to the shopping center area (i.e. Coles). The ambience is beautiful, relaxing, nature and the lake side. There are heaps of activities you can do just explore the place. You can do kayaking and paddle boats along the lake. Cycling is another option plus an indoor swimming pool. The fitness center is well maintained, Sauna, gym and jacuzzi (spa). You can meditate along the lake and do some walking/trekking. And cant help but to say that their toilets are sooo clean!
A step back into history is just one of the experiences at this magnificent property. Well appointed rooms with so many facilities all included. Cleanliness and comfort were a welcome feature. Set on 50acres, there was a serene atmosphere and though the resort was fully booked, you felt you were one of only a few people. The staff in reception were very friendly and welcoming, like old friends. There are no lifts so request a ground floor if any mobility issues. A definite relaxing expetience.
Worst holiday ever, Ballarat resort had several cars broken into and damaged then all vehicles to be repaired at owners expense. This has been occurring for several months and nothing put into place to stop from happening again.
Manager's comments you park at own risk, what a joke would not have stayed here if had known. DO NOT RECOMMEND WILL NOT BE RETURNING
Fantastic space, beautifully maintained grounds, warm and an overall wonderful place to stay for anyone.
. Had a lovely time.room very warm and comfortable.friendly helpful staff.excellent facilities.loved whole experience.
A beautiful old building repurposed as a holiday resort. Club Wyndham had plenty of stuff to do from bike riding to pedal boating, and swimming to saunas. It's a great place to stay and bring the kids. My only criticism is that the kitchens in the rooms could do with a few more bits and pieces to round out the function of cooking.
This resort has some extremely interesting and dark history before it became Club Wyndham. It is a beautiful luxurious and comfortable place to be in, the staff are amazing, Wini will definitely help you.
I recommend staying here if your looking to learn a bit of Australia's history.
Extra special property.set in 7 acres of parkland including a lake & walk/bike tracks. Canoes also available. Very interesting history. Beautifully refurbished. Large heated, indoor pool, spa, gym, libraries. We felt very welcome & nothing was a problem. We will certainly return.
Once the cleaning smell disappeared, I was able to enjoy the old world ambience of my studio apartment. It was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful and actually took me to my room. Be aware that there is no restaurant on site but plenty of restaurants nearby. I used uber eats. I enjoyed my stay there.
Beautiful historic building, with lovely fresh internal rooms with fully equipped kitchens and bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Situated in lovely grounds with a large lake surrounded by willow trees. There are games rooms and an indoor swimming pool to enjoy, too.
The best ClubWyndham SP property I have been to. An amazing property full of history and most tastefully presented. It's a MUST if you appreciate old architecture and grandeur. A tasteful coffee shop/ lounge would be an added bonus when it happens.
