Rama Thai ( Order Online/ Delivery)

Very good Thai restaurant. Popular with dine-in as well as takeaway/delivery service, so, do get in early if you don't wish to wait too long for your food. Food is delicious. Could be a lot spicier though probably spicy enough for the regular clentele.

Food was well priced, generous and absolutely delish. We had the curry puffs, Pad Thai and red curry.

Bland, flavourless, stingy portions and high prices. Just awful. Some of the worst Thai food available in Melbourne. Avoid.

The food is alright. Standard Thai food.

I've been coming to Rama Thai for years. It's a favourite for me as far as the food is concerned, but as far as the service goes, well that's another story. They feel so much with take out while patrons sit inside waiting for ages and ages for anything to come out. It’s very unfair how they work that.

I ordered the Golden Canape, which is deep fried marinated chicken on bread (toast) with a chilli sauce. Let me tell you; these are HEAVENLY. They are SO good. I haven't seen these on any other Thai restaurant menus (and I go to Thai places a lot). They're delicious and I could almost eat them as main meal too, lol. For my main, I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice (of course). This was delicious too and made according to my modification requests.

I did find it bad that the waitress didn't know answers to questions about the food on the specials board. That's something staff should be trained in. But the food is delicious and really tasty and if you don't mind slow service at times, this is a restaurant I highly recommend.

Rama Thai is one of the best Thai eateries Melbourne. Good sized meals and value for money prices.

We've been to several Thai restaurants in the area. This is the best one for value and quality. BYO also.

Ordered food for pick up at 6: 45. Arrived to pick up at 7: 15. Told to wait 10 minutes. Sat down and waited another 20. Asked where the food and was told to wait another 5. They were only serving 1 table when I walked in, and still took over half an hour to serve the food I came to pick up.

Too busy doing Uber eats orders, don’t answer their phone. Don’t want people to dine in the restaurant. Shame as this used to be great, but has been destroyed by Uber eats

Beautiful authentic Thai coupled with excellent service. We enjoyed a few traditional dishes, definitely a stand out in the area. We will be back

Had mild diarrhea after ordering Pad See Ew with chicken from this restaurant. I recalled that one of the chicken pieces tasted foul.

Oh wow, we were here for other business but dropped by to have a quick dinner and I'm very impressed.

The food is very authentic and serving portions are quite big, the coconut rice is well cooked and fragrant and curry a mix of various spice and flavour.

Ambience is great too and staff friendly.

We had such a wonderful experience here for takeaway. Ordered the chicken massaman, pad see ew and grilled pork salad. The salad was exactly what I was craving! A little bit of spice, super tasty and refreshing. There was a small error with the order that we only realised when we got home, and the lovely waitress offered to replace the dish for us - which we gladly accepted the following week. Ordered the exact same thing again because we couldn’t resist!

Can’t wait to turn Rama Thai into a regular spot.

I ordered takeaway via OZfoodhunter, which is indicated as the preferred method by the restaurant. Unfortunately my order was lost, and I ended up waiting an extra ~40mins than originally told. While the food was very good, the team at Rama need to resolve their operational issues if they hope to retain customers.
