Rail Trail Cafe

Really enjoyed the huge burritos we had at the end of a bike ride. We had a nice shady spot to sit (on a relatively warm day) as well as a secure place to store our bikes while enjoying our lunch. What more could you want?

Beautiful spot, we rode our bikes from Bright which took about 25 minutes (with kids) and stopped here for a coffee and fruit toast. The fruit toast is the best I’ve had! Coffee was great too

Always get the pulled pork burrito or breakfast burrito and love it. Staff is always so friendly

When I first saw the price, I thought it is a bit expensive. But the quality, quantity and friendly service, it worths every penny.

Should have read the tea leaves. Looked unopen early am. Literally served by a young boy. 2x worst coffees ever experienced. 2x small takeaway $12.20 weak and milky. Convinced they used just the 1x shot and ran the button. They knew we were out of towners. Put us off other places in Porepunkah. Never again out of season so they didn't care.

Walked here from Bright and it’s a lovely destination. Great for outdoor dining in the sun with a lovely eclectic feel. Food is generous servings and absolutely delicious! 2 very satisfied kids and parents combined! Highly recommend a visit!

Awesome place from any point.
Great Californian style Mexican food, excellent location, just by the river and next to the bike trail. Opens early for bike riders coffee stop. We go there at least twice every time we stay in Bright!

Generous serving. Wonderfully helpful about specials. Nice smoothies. Very popular, yummy food. Good bike facilities. Buzzy and fun. Great service. Would highly recommend.

Guaranteed deliciousness. A repeat visitor when in this area. Service with a smile, food flavour bomb, green tea is perfecto and the surroundings are peaceful.

Every year we go to this cafe and usually have a good experience. This year I ordered a breakky burito with sausage and hash browns etc. When it came out I had received the wrong one. I told the first waiter I found who couldn't help, neither could the second, both were very young, then an older woman came out and said the wrong thing had been ordered and insisted it was my fault and that I must have ordered the vegetarian burrito and there's no possibility the error was on their part and basically told me to accept the wrong meal. I confirmed again I wouldn't have ordered a vegetarian burrito when the one I wanted had sausage it and told her she could check the recording if she wanted to, apparently she listens to everything over a baby monitor? ! She then walked off to speak to someone else and came back to tell me they decided they would make the correct one but they would put it at the back of the queue and it would be a 25 minute wait, I assume to punish me? After 40 minutes it still hadn't arrived so we went to enquire about it and it hadn't even been sent to the kitchen, so after over an hour from ordering we asked for a refund and left with no meal. It's busy, staff are busy I get it, mistakes happen, but please don't blame the customer for it and turn it into a horrible experience. I recommend triple checking the order has been entered correctly with all the right ingredients to try and avoid a similar experience. There was also no soap in the disabled bathroom or main sink.

Incredibly slow service. Waited 20 (make that 25) minutes for two coffees and the food area was not that busy. No information to say that we would be waiting this long.
Be prepared to wait!

Very small kitchen. Wait time is over an hour for 1 takeaway food item 50 minute wait for coffee. Food is good if you can get it. I realize it’s a small kitchen and obviously can’t cope with the seating and takeaway orders. Not notified of the wait time when I ordered. Watched about 5 people cancel orders and leave. Really, if you can’t handle the volume stop taking take away orders or at least notify people before they order so they can make the informed choice to stand around for over an hour or go elsewhere.
Won’t be returning or recommending.

Cute little place to enjoy coffee. Inky seating is outside, this was freezing and I found it dampened the visit

Had breakfast here twice over the weekend and we had the breakfast burrito, French toast and large cup of almond mocha honestly one of the best cafes I've been too! Generous serving size, friendly staff, and clean toilets too! Love the look of the Cafe as well. Highly recommend!
