Don't be fooled by the rates. The service is poor and they were not friendly or helpful. It was a take it or leave it attitude. I found much better service at Travel Money Oz on 142 Elisabeth Street.
Several times now I've tried to visit between 5.30pm - before 6pm, only to be told they're closed & won't serve me, while the person behind the counter keeps chatting away on the phone. Even though the door is open & their hrs say they're open until 7pm. Either their website & door sign are wrong, or they like to close really early but pretend to be open.
Best rate I could find in the CBD. No commission, courteous and professional service. Clear handling of cash and confirmation of transaction. Detailed receipt.
