Today I picked up my Demetrios wedding gown, Rita was very helpful & made sure my gown was perfect from first alteration appointment to pick up. They altered it the exact way I had envisioned. Thank you Rita - april

My experience here could not have gone better. Rita assisted me at my appointment and she spent a lot of time making sure every part of my gown fitted properly. I felt very comfortable and everything went really well!

I wish I had listened to the other negative reviews before letting Raffaele Ciuca staff hack into my wedding dress. The alterations were expensive ($990) and so poorly done that large parts of it were unfixable before my wedding. The alterations caused me so many tears and so much stress in what should have been an exciting lead up to my wedding. In the end the dress wasn't right and I was left with a dress that was worse than what I started with. Please don't take the risk as I did, after seeing an equal mix of good and terrible reviews, it's just not worth it. Go somewhere else. As perfect as my wedding day was, the dress alterations are still such a sore spot. I wish I could go back and go somewhere else.

Rita and the Brunswick alterations team were absolutely amazing. Rita went above and beyond to help me with my alterations and I can't thank you enough. She is a superstar! Thank you again.

Absolutely atrocious. They made a good friend of mine countlessly wait weeks for her dress then made lame excuses about her weight and every excuse under the sun. No woman should ever feel like Gloria from Madagascar.

Customer service was fabulous when it came to buying the dress but when it came trying on the ordered dress the size did not fit well and alteration cost amounted to almost $1000, which was $500 more than the estimate given to me when I bought the dress. In terms of organising a time to pick up my altered dress, the staff were not accommodating to a full time workers, making it so that you could only pick up the dress during the weekday and before 5pm, which was an added stress, already to a stressful occasion.

The staff were lovely and accommodating, however the alterations didn’t match the price tag. My cups were not properly sewn in and I spent my wedding day trying to stick them to the dress with double sided tape. Other than that, they did a good job, just not good enough for $1000!

When I came for my final fitting, the lady at the front desk is extremely unpleasant to deal with. She rushed me in and out, when I said my dress was uneven she hesitated to fix it and said that nobody would notice. Please provide her feedback and perhaps only the actually dressmakers and people who are doing the alterations should be the ones dealing with clients. Ruined my day and I wish I went elsewhere

Well went there to get dress altered and I have to say I hated their customer service which was extremely poor. One of the staff was just beyond rude and felt like she did not want to help us at all and had a bit of a nasty attitude which I didn’t like nor appreciate. Went to another place that had better service and felt like the staff actually cared.

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would! Absolutely horrible experience here. Staff were kind in the beginning, then became VERY inconsistent with service. I arrived for my last fitting and to take my dress, and the hem was very uneven - 6-8cm in difference on either side. The bodice also had boning that was visibly poking out between the bust. When I questioned all of this, they asked me to come back in 2-3 hours while they altered it. I happily went off and arrived back in 3 hours. This is when it got worse. The hem was STILL uneven and NOT to the measurements taken on my first fitting. One side had been CUT too short - how can you do this? I was flabbergasted to say the least. And to top it off, the staff were ABSOLUTELY rude and offered me a $100 discount. I'm sorry but $100 does not cut it! The rude staff tried to explain that I must pay for the alterations as it takes half a days work for the seamstress - what about the half a days work I have missed waiting for you to fix YOUR mistakes? I should have not been charges for ANY of the alterations. I should have trusted these terrible reviews from the beginning.

After spending over 7K on my dress at Raffaele Ciuca dealing with this location to have the alterations done is an absolute nightmare.
The asian guy that works at back rushed my alteration refusing to hear me out and the fact that I was voicing my concerns over the poor pining. When I returned a few days later for a fitting the dress was loose in all the areas I pointed out previously. Honestly if you want your wedding day to go smooth shop elsewhere. I have a 7K dress that has been altered 3 times and I'm so devastated that the lace on it is so deformed from the poor work. This store will not take any responsibility.
Overall poor service, rude and obnoxious little man who destroyed my wedding dress.

Alterations are expensive, ensure you know what you want and stick to it. Not much positive assistance will come from the staff try to block them out or take fun people with you if you must use them. I would not have used them if u could turn back the clock, and I would have done different alterations.

After driving up from Geelong to the Armadale store I was disappointed with the staff, the quality and the range. I felt judged and humiliated for being a size 14-16, and was told to go to the Brunswick store where they have more "plus sizes". The dresses were torn and had makeup all over them and the staff were airy fairy and seemed to have no idea (but of course were very made up and nicely dressed). Given I had no budget for my wedding dress - I'm glad to be spending my money elsewhere!

Why the heck this and its sister store 50m up the road can't coordinate I don't know, haven't they heard of computers. They are pretty hopeless, don't bother.
