Rada Restaurant

The place is far from russian cuisine. Food is fatty and tasteless. Just to warn future visitors these guys do not accept credit card payment, cash only. It's a huge inconvenience to go to a restaurant and feed few people and not be able to pay by debit. Several hundred dollars for the transaction. So, I think this place could afford it. It is a restaurant, not small business. Had I known I would choose another restaurant.

This venue is pretty much similar to the other Russian places in Melbourne: Soviet style service, Soviet atmosphere, terrible music, medium rated food, leaving few guests hungry as they have issues with estimating the required food for the number of guests invited. The place is definitely better than Matrioshka, but if you are too desperate for a Russian restaurant better come visit Russia or at least Rasputin of Malvern.

We celebrated our Dad's 80 birthday yesterday, on 21 July 2018, and really enjoyed it. Nice music, food and the staff was very friendly. Thank you, RADA, for a great night!

Typical Russian restaurant with the same Russian atmosphere. Set menu, you eat what you have been served, quite a few choices, all authentic Eastern European stuff. Have to make booking. I think it is not possible just to walk in from the street, but i am not sure about this.
One of those places where you can dance, but music most Russian as well.

Great place to celebrate a special event. Thanks for the hosts to be so accommodating and friendly.

A dear friend of ours booked this restaurant for the afternoon following her husband's funeral. The staff had set up one long table, but our friend wanted a more intimate setting so the staff quickly moved everything to a group of circular tables. The food was delicious and authentically Russian. The staff were very attentive and did not try to rush us through as afternoon turned into evening. Apparently the price was not cheap.

Great russian style restaurant. If you want to eat russian food, drink a lot of alcohol and dance your as off this is the place to go.

I am very subjective here because I like the staff. The venue itself is great. The staff, again, is great. Food is an acquired taste (Russian/European). Good for big, noisy celebrations
