RACV Cape Schanck Golf Course & Shop

Course is absolutely amazing highly recommend it very challenging the lay out is incredible. We found the staff very helpful in the pro shop but that’s wear it ends we didn’t stay there but we were really looking forward to having a bit to eat in there restaurant after and just found the staff very below average ordering drinks at the bar and been told they will serve them to the table only to have to walk up to the bar to collect them are selfs before they go flat and not be told there ready to reading the menu what ever happened to simple is easy didn’t even stay for food.
Wont be coming back with are social group

Fairways and greens were well-maintained. Course was in a good condition. When you can get the special rate, it's definitely worth playing.

Been there a few times. Very well maintained course. Staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Just need to be aware that sometimes it could get quite busy and golfers there usually play at pretty fast pace.

I will give a full max score for because of:
1. Booking and check in process was flawless…super easy and worth the money
2. The staff that welcomed me on the day was very nice, explained me about the course and some.
3. The club house is very clean and modern
4. The tee box is well maintained
5. The fairway is challenging but friendly, clean and a very good grass. Easy to find the ball
6. The bunker is another challenge but we’ll maintained
7. Green is fast but not that hard to read once you pay a bit attention on the line.
8. The caffe is great…
I will be back with the family to play and enjoy this beautiful course.

Great condition course, proshop looks new and luxury. Cart is in great condition.
Course view at hole 9 is amazing. Fairway, bunker and green are all in very good condition. Just had nine holes with the kid in the afternoon, The course was quiet due to the windy weather.if the price for nine in the 3pm can be cheaper for playing with junior would be great.
However, I Will definitely come back for a full round with mates for sure.

I can’t believe there’s no coffee available at 9 am for a round of golf. Who ever made this decision needs to re-address it. You can buy a beer but not a coffee? Really?

Played a round of 18 at Cape Schanck for my Dad's 70th Birthday. The course was in amazing condition, was reasonably priced and we had a fantastic day. The course also has some amazing views of the ocean and surrounding area. Andy Smith and the pro-shop staff were very helpful and helped us pick out a memento for my Dad. Whilst we were happy with the food we could purchase from the on course cart, it would have been nice if the Cafe was open for coffee.

Lovely course greens were like beaches with the amount of sand on them which was a shame but i would definately go back

Special day as I had my first hole in one ever. Really nice course with great facilities. Most courses in the States like Kapalua or Pebble are 8 times the price. However being charged $14 for a small bottle of pear cider left a bad taste in my mouth. Greedy.

Beautiful peaceful course. Very well kept. Great club house and facilities. Lots of kangaroos, if later in the day. Beautiful sunsets.

Played today at Cape Schanck and had a ball.
The Pro Shop team were very friendly and welcoming.
The course was in great condition and the views are amazing. We had a pizza after the game and all the staff were friendly and the Pizza was DELICIOUS!

Average greens from being cored expected overall corse holding up well, getting plenty of run on all fairways.

It's been a while since I last played here but I really enjoyed it more than I used to. The course was in fantastic condition.

Big shout out to the team at RACV Cape Schanck. I was booked to play last weekend but unfortunately a combination of sea mist and drizzle combined to reduce visibility down to 40m and play was just about impossile.
Being the golf tragic I am I hung around making use of the great short game area and putting green and eventually things cleared enough to fit in some golf. The guys in the Pro Shop organised a towel from the club to dry the cart off and threw in use of the cart for free to try and help make up for the delayed start and the weather.
Very professional, classy attitude that I thought warranted a good review. The course was in great condtion despite heavy overnight rain and drizzle across the whole morning, the practice facilities and re-worked 9th hole (now all construction is finished) are all fantastic, a great experience, keep up the good work guys!

It looks great since the RACV took it over. Course is in fantastic order. New building and facilities and staff were freindly.
Dont try to get anything to eat at the cafe before 12 though. Only food available is at the pro shop. When the cafe opened. The pricing was pretty steep. Obviously catering for the tourist market.
Will go back and play again but will call into St Andrew Brewery for the after round refreshment.

Easy to score here. I do think it is a bargain round if you are RACV member. Long and hilly course. Recommended cart. This course, Sorrento and the Dunes are my fav in Mornington Pennisula. A wide range of clothing and staff are knowledgeable. Thank you Andrew, O'Connor and Dan. You are a star.

One of the best courses on the peninsula.
Tee off after 2pm on weekdays and it's only $29 - bargain!
