QV Physiotherapy reviews
66Lauren (Loz) is extremely passionate about delivering an outstanding service to each of her patients. She communicated extremely well as to how to execute each exercise and followed through to ensure we were using the correct technique. I felt great for days. Well done Loz
I have trust in and feel understood by my Physiotherapist at QV Physio.
Laura has done an amazing job helping me recover from an avulsion fracture in my ankle, and getting my body as a whole to a better place than it was at before the injury.
I came out of the CAM boot three weeks ago and my podiatrist was really impressed with the level of strength and flexibility in the ankle/foot.
QV Physiotherapy has provided me with an excellent pilates experience.
I joined due to an ongoing netball knee injury and had my first reformer pilates class program designed by the physio Laura Ham.
Every week I join a class of up to 6 people and do my individual program which develops each week. Laura demonstrates the exercises, corrects my form and posture, challenges me and listens to my feedback.
It's been wonders to build up strength in my legs and core!
Also a bonus is that my private health insurance has physio cover in so I can also claim these clinical pilates classes.
It's been easy as their location is in the city with a great timetable of classes before and after work. Also during the lockdown QV Physiotherapy have also been providing free online pilates classes which have kept me on track.
I plan to do more in person classes in the future as it's been so beneficial to my injury management and building strength and fitness.
Highly recommend their friendly team and giving their classes a go!:)
Had a great experience with Laura! Professional and always took the time explain everything. Had to stop running due to an injury and she had me back on the track in no time
Lauren Kendall is a complete professional who managed and eliminated the consequences of two very painful and debilitating injuries. I can’t thank her enough and happily recommend her to others for her skill and supportive manner.
I visited QV for lower back tightness due to weight and football training. Laura was professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Symptoms were quickly under control and then Laura assisted me with new exercises to manage and strengthen my back ongoing. Thanks
All staff here are very attentive and its a lovely facility. My physio Lauren is amazing, I’ve had a few sessions and joined her group pilates classes where she customises each exercise according to each person's need and ensures you are safely doing them. Any strains or niggles I have had felt great afterwards and its been great to maintain that. Highly recommend Lauren and QV Physio
Was so refreshing to be treated by someone so thorough! Christine was super easy to talk to and genuinely cared about treating my ongoing back issues.
Love love love QV Physio. They’re all so friendly, have the best Pilates classes and always have the best playlists playing too!
Christine was absolutely amazing. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a knee problem but it’s all better now. I am more confident now with moving around and exercising thanks to her program.
I have tried different physio clinics and this is best by a mile. Everyone there is so caring and supportive. It feels like they are really invested in your recovery and the different moments in your life. Highly recommend for general care, injuries, prevention and for pre and post natal services as well. I have had sessions with Laura, Christine and Lauren now and I am very happy with their care. Reception staff is also very kind and welcoming. I even drive now about 25 km for my pilates sessions because I really enjoy them at QV physiotherapy. Thanks so much for everything, the online classes during the lockdown were also very thoughtful.
Very knowledgeable friendly staff. Loved the online pilates class! Also loved their ability to break down exercises and poses so you can understand them easily, even in you're own living room
I went through a rehab program (after a knee injury) with Vasish, and I can't recommend him enough. He's clearly incredibly knowledgeable, and as an athletic person himself, was easy to relate to. His experience with sporting teams and his own sporting experience made me confident that he knew exactly what I was going through. I got along well with him and actually enjoyed going to sessions, thanks Vasish!
Having Laura on my women's health care team has been one of the best investments throughout my pregnancy and now postpartum. Not only has she helped me to manage long-standing pain issues, but she's supported my overall wellbeing and mobility throughout such a significant life change. If you're looking for a trusted women's health physio (that you'll actually enjoy visiting!), Laura's tailored advice and support will get you on track towards your goals.
All staffs here are very attentive. Especially my physiotherapist Ms Laura Ham have made my pregnancy journey comfortable and healthy. She customises the exercise in group pilates according to each person's need. My neck pain and headache has been dramatically improved after starting to take her class. I definitely recommend her and QV physio.
I really enjoyed online pilates classes during Melbourne’s latest lockdown. They gave me energy and a sence of togetherness and something to look forward to.
Nice and clean facility with great service. Stopped going there after trying so hard to get over the fact that my appointment keeps starting 5minutes later than my booking and finishing 5minutes early, for a few times.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Everyone is lovely and helpful. It's an absolute safe place, very inclusive and never judgmental in any way, shape or form. It's a bit expensive as a women's health appointment is of course not under Medicare (but that's not their fault). A physio appointment is a bit cheaper. It's SO worth it though. And they won't push you to come more than necessary: their goal is for you to be pain free and autonomous.
They will always explain everything they do and why and take the time to know you and your wants and needs. They have an app where they'll put a personalised program you can do at home and they will adjust it if needed. In the app, each exercise has a video and instructions and they can edit them to really tailor it to you. The app by itself is worth going because it's so well done, clear and helpful, with a timer and all you need but as simple to use as possible.
Lastly, Laura, the Women's health practitioner, is a delight. She is very respectful and will not push boundaries but won't let you slack either. She is always cheerful and encouraging. Half-an-hour with her and you're sure to be willing to continue moving and exercising.
Laura is without a doubt the best physio I have ever been to, I can not recommend her highly enough. She has helped me so much with my sore back; she is practical, helpful, encouraging and effective- the best.
I am undergoing physiotherapy sessions for the last 2 months for my knee problem. I am highly impressed with the way they treat patients. They put 100% dedication and understand the individual needs of each patient. They put all efforts to make the patient feel relaxed and energetic at the same time. Now, after 1 week, I am going back to my job. All credit goes to you for quick recovery.
