Quest Moorabbin serviced apartment reviews
21Dreadful place. Not clean. Needs thorough cleaning of units. Needs operating cafe and 24 hr. Staff. Would not stay here again.
First time staying at Quest Moorabbin. Great location for our needs. Extremely clean and comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well soundproofed from traffic on Kingston Road. We stayed in one of the rooms closest to the road and couldnt hear anything.
They have free laundry/dryer. Washing powder free at reception.
Thankyou.
I am staying here a few nights due to work. Beds uncomfortable it's been around for a while. Got a hard Ridge down the middle. It also sags so when you lay in it it's like laying in a ditch. Showers crazy burn your bum one second then freeze it off the next and it leaks all over the bedroom floor. Rubbish bin hasn't been emptied for a few days. TV you have to turn off and on at the switch not with the remote because the on off button doesnt work No chargebacks and no restaurants close by. It's just generally old. Room smelt like someone had been cooking curry in the apartment when I got home last night. Had to air the room out. Weird. Wondering if the cleaners heated their lunch in the microwave. Is noisy at 400am with factory or business behind the motel. Bad location no restaurants open at dinner time. You have to drive to somewhere to get dinner. Also no supermarkets in the area so if you need something you have to drive to the next suburb to get what you want. Not the best experience at a Quest I have had.
UPDATE: Aakshi, after my father’s unsatisfactory stay and experience with Quest, the bare minimum you could have done is give him the refund. You did not ask him to leave, you told him to leave. He did not refuse any attempts to solve problems. Something was wrong with every single room you offered him and he raised this immediately with you but none of your attempts to resolve any issues were successful (e.g. Broken heater, fridge, cooktop). This is not something my dad should have to do – it is entirely Quest’s responsibility to ensure every single room open to a guest is up to standard. You only offered my father compensation when he told you that he would escalate this situation to head office or Consumer Affairs Victoria. Only after this did you offer the refund but the conditions were that my dad could not post any further reviews. Offering compensation for a terrible stay at your accommodation does not take my father’s right to complain to the authorities who assess your service quality. Next time, please consider apologising and take accountability rather than blaming your customers for things that are out of their control.
My dad has been staying at Quest for the last 3 weeks. Recently he was moved to a room where the amenities and state of the room was unclean, non-functioning and broken. He used the bathroom and the door had locked him in. He was by himself and stuck there for a very long time. He had to bang against the door several times before the door opened. When he told an employee, she did not apologise, show any kind of empathy or take any action to rectify the situation. My dad was by himself and has asthma. He could not have called for help and this is an extremely dangerous situation for anyone to be in. My dad had not even been informed beforehand that the door was faulty. We are extremely disappointed with the service. We will not be staying here again and will not be recommending Quest to our friends and family. Do not waste your money to stay here - find someplace else.
Look its not terrible, but 5 out of 6 key cards given didn't work. I was given another room for the trouble. The new room didn't include tea bags but came with milk. Shower handle broke off and the towel had a stain on it. Didn't completely ruin the experience but if you want perfect might not be the place for you. Staff were lovely and helpful despite all this.
If I can give zero star, I would, because this hotel is very dirty and filthy. I am staying here at the moment for three nights. Every day, I saw life cockroaches in the kitchenette and the bathroom. The first night the TV didn’t even work, the second night when I returned to the room, the used mugs and plates were still on the bench after their room service. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Unless you want to deal with pest infestation issues, strongly recommend you not to consider staying at this hotel. See photos for the cockroach and dirty shower vent, and used mugs not collected.
There are people in residence who are homeless and 'put up' there by the NDIS. The rest of us have to pay around $170 per night. We stayed there for 8 nights, the room was cleaned once and on the final night I woke up bitten to death by bed bugs. I found 5 or 6 mites in the bed.never have I experienced bed bugs anywhere in the world until my stay at Quest Moorabbin.
The room booked was different to the room given. Fridge did not have anything in not even water. Very noisy at night quests screaming
I booked a 2 bedroom apartment 5 weeks ago directly with Quest and was told today by Zebebah that it was no longer available for our booking in 6 days time because it had a broken door lock. I was told that there were no other rooms available for us. I asked to talk to the manger and was told she was not available today because she is in meetings. They ran Quest Cheltenham to organise a room there and when they called they would not match the price that I had booked at and wanted an extra $70. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service.
The service was good however everything else was poor and very expensive for what it is. The room smelt of stale cigarette smoke, TV remote did not work, phone not working, substandard shower that leaked on the floor. Only fast food options close by if you don't have a car.
Mould in the bathrooms, leaking ceilings with obvious water damage and poor quality furnishings topped off with very bad service from the office staff. 10/10 would not recommend
This estimate is so good that I ended up staying here for 8mths, it's so good that I've returned for another vist for a month. Very reasonable rates and great apartments with smart TV, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer and very comfy king-size beds.
Loved these apartments for a Melbourne stay. Full kitchen is great and loved the balcony for fresh air.
Very comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back and recommending to friends.
I have stayed here and found the service prompt, apartments clean and it is close by to evolve247 gym, plenty of parking, free shuttle within a 5km radius, small but convenient gym inside complex. Good food options from nearby vendors with charge back to room option. Amenities like washer, dryer available. Nice aircon and daily room cleaning, very good.
This quest was lovely. Close to shops, petrol stations and food hehe.
Place was quiet, clean and easy to get in and out of
Best place to stay.staffs are friendly.rooms are comfortable. Lots of parking space and close to everything.
Rooms very very basic. This place is terrible if you’re are trying to get a good night sleep with 2 king singles pushed together for a bed that were as hard as a rock and there was more traffic and noise than in the hallways and from other rooms it sounded like the MCG on grand final day. Wouldn’t recommend at all
Good location for me. Rooms are very clean and tidy. Team are friendly and actually can give recommendations for local restaurants, which is unusual these days. The gym is tiny, one treadmill, one rower and one elliptical machine but ok if you’re the only one there, which I was. I would stay here again.
Unfortunately the key cards regularly malfunctioned resulting in me being locked out of my room. Nobody in reception at the time and so I spent 45 mins wandering hallway. Gym key card didn't work either. Other than that, nice place and friendly staff.
