Queen Banh Mi

One of the best Banh Mi in Melbourne! The place is clean and funky. Stafs are friendly. Must try!

Unfortunately the bread was so tough and then became so soggy from the filling that I couldn’t eat my Bahn mi roll. The bread rolls here are definitely no good and can tell they are not fresh. Hopefully they can fix that problem because otherwise seems like a decent place

Waited almost 20 minutes for a banh mi. There was only one other customer so I don't know why it took so long. Food was mediocre too

Had a Bahn mi craving and it seemed half of brighton had the same as it was heaving on in store. Was enjoyable but not overly filling. Craving yet to be satisfied

Excellent food- quick bite to eat- gets really busy around lunchtime. Highly recommend! Love their bbq chicken salad bowls

Great bahn mi. The pork was tender and had a great crackle on top, veggies were pickled to perfection and bread was crunchy and light. I'll definitely come back.

Wow absolutely amazing thought I’ve had the best Bahn Mi until I had one from here they’ve taken it to the next level can’t wait to go back.

I did want to like this local joint. A painful experience ordering. Nobody seemed to know what they were doing. Not wanting to be cruel but there you have it. Guys it is not that difficult. Food was tasty enough but both items on the order were wrong.

Really really yummy, fresh vermicelli rice noodle salad with turmeric chicken! Perfect lunch on the go

Have tried numerous Bahn mi and the one I purchased from Queen Bahn Mi was definitely not one of the best. Ordered crispy pork and no crispy to be found. What should have been crackling was chewy uncrackled rind. Not a lot of flavor either, meet chewy. Meh, probs won’t try again.

This rating is based solely on their banh mi as it’s called queen banh mi. Ordered crispy pork banh mi today.

Bread: stale, felt at least 2 days old as it had lost its crunch and become a bit chewy to eat
Pork belly: high non rendered fat, some skin really crispy and delicious but some skin a bit rubbery
Pickled carrots daikon: was the highlight perfect amount of tart and crunch
Other veggies: very fresh
Sauce: not overpowering very pleasant

Understandable in terms of bread quality as this is not a bakery makes sense for a new restaurant to bulk buy for a couple of days or use the remaining bread from the day before.

It’s overall a nice joint, only banh mi joint in quite a far radius the staff are really sweet and nice would maybe return to try one of their bowls to eat the pickled veggies again.

Really fresh ingredients and good portions, I had the Vietnamese salad with rice noodles and crispy pork, and a couple of rice paper rolls.

Really good Bahn mi’s. The crackling was super crunchy, ingredients were fresh, super yummy.
Staff were polite and friendly.
Wait time was short.

So YUM! First time trying Banh Mi and Rice paper rolls and I was very impressed, full of flavor so delicious! I will be returning weekly!

Consistently delicious cuisine and lovely owners. My only criticism is the meat quantity could be a bit larger, otherwise I'll continue to dine here.

Absolutely delicious. What a find. We had their roast chicken bahn mi - suoer fresh and packed with delicious ingredients. A cute little shop in the heart of brighton. Can’t wait to go back and try their rice paper rolls or pho.

I visit 2 days in a row. The BBQ chicken banh mi is huge, fresh and super tasty. The service is friendly and quick. Highly recommend.

BEST BANH MI IN MELBOURNE (IF NOT THE UNIVERSE). Super fresh and delicious. Crispy buns. The Pork Belly with crackle is amazing.

As with every Banh mi I eat. I wanted this one to be good. The bread was good. The pickled veg (90% carrot 10% daikon) was nicely pickled. Good crunch. That's about it. The roll itself was very dry. No pate. Barely any mayo or anything to lubricate the ingredients. The pork wasn't great. A little tough a little dry.
The vietnamese coffee tasted fairly weak. Not very sweet.
I won't be in a rush to return.
