Quealy Winemakers reviews
47 A mid-week jaunt saw is at the beautiful Quealy Wines.
Tristan was an absolute hoot and wealth of knowledge. Luke was a spiffy ringer!
Thanks guys, wonderful time.
Oh, BTW, the wine are AMAZING!
Thanks Kathleen.
Great cellar door experience.
Rustic setting with super knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Their cheese plate features local Redhill cheeses and is highly recommended.
Great service and knowledge about the wines on offer. Each wine was really enjoyable to taste. The only regret is not being able to buy more
Hands down the best winery in Victoria. Lovely wine, lovely experience and lovely people. We love visiting this place.
Super friendly cellar door with a wide variety to taste. The Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir are a hit!
Quirky wines, great labels and wine quality matches. This vineyard has evolved over the years into something really special. Organic certification on some labels. Great little vineyard.
This is an amazing winery.
Free tastings and delicious snacks aside, Luke was extremely personable with an incredible knowledge backed up by some amazing wines. Everybody left with a purchase.
Highly recommend spending some of your day here.
A sensational winery, if you can only visit one place on the Mornington Peninsula it's here. A fantastic range of beautifully crafted wines, a selection of organic wines also. This place ticks all the boxes of a great vineyard, with reasonable prices for this quality.
Great tasting with a variety of wines, fair prices for bottles as well, the vineyard is beautiful!
Thanks Bart and Kathleen!
Make sure you call in advance to book some cheeses to have with the wine
We love it here. It’s one of the iconic wineries of the Peninsula. The wines are tremendous and there’s a good range to taste at the cellar door. Service can be a bit quirky but we don’t care. It’s a must visit and over and over again.
Fantastic experience, the owner's were lovely and the wine was amazing. Thanks for having our group on Saturday.
Great cellar door - really friendly staff who went the extra mile to make our visit enjoyable. Great wines - some really interesting varietals and great pinots. Will be back to visit and place an order online for sure! Thanks!
Quealy vineyard - incredible down to earth experience. Cath was a world of knowledge and a great host. The East Coast Moscato Rosa is arguably the best Moscato I've ever had
Highly recommended!
Friendly staff, great wines (plus special blends).
Great spot to stop by after the hot springs!
Was a a winery tour that ended at Quealy on the weekend. It was a disaster their winemaker is terrible with customers and has anger management issues
I was part of a 40th Birthday wine tour today and our amazing day was ruined by Tom, the winemaker.
One of the first questions he asked us was, Where is everyone from? We answered and then he said, I was just being polite. ️ He poured us a taste test and we had to ask him, What wine had he given us? Because he didn't let us know. At this point, I didn't care for the tasting because he didn't show any skills or knowledge of Customer Service or Sales.
He shocked us when he asked the birthday lady, our host to pull it back and he left the room. At this point, we all closed our wallets up and we weren't going to buy anything from this winery.
It seems like Tom had other things going on because we felt like he didn't want to be there, but that doesn't excuse him to speak and treat customers this way. We arrived in good spirits and knowledge that this winery offers amazing wines, I was told this by our host. But left feeling confused, upset and with the knowledge that we will never reccomend Quealy wines because of the attitude and experience provided from Tom today.
Tom, shouldn't be working with the general public at Quealy Winemakers and hopefully he apologises to us for ruining our special day.
I love this winery. Personal, delicious and down to earth. I love the cat, the dogs and I really want to see their resident koala (I hope he comes back).
Some amazing wines at this place! A few of the wines on the list were more experimental, perfect for those who are bold enough to venture there. We loved it - and walked away with bottles of the Fruilano and sparkling (which has no sulpher or sugar added!). Their more traditional wines were also great (we walked away with their Pinot Grigio, Mornington Peninsula pinot noir and the 17 Rows Pinot Noir). Excellent service, and not to mention their absolutely tasty complementary breads (which I wish they sold!)
One of the best tasting experiences on the Peninsula. High recommendation to anyone wanting to try some interesting wine.
All the other winemakers on the peninsula love Kat Quealy - she’s a bit of an icon - so how could you not go? They have a great selection of wines including quite a few in the more affordable price ranges. Great single vineyard Pinot, but also some unusual and fun blends. Such lovely service too - the lady who served us recommended a restaurant for lunch and then proceeded to call them to book for us. Who does that?
