Staff are so so lovely! The chicken pesto roll was delicious, affordable and a great size. That crème brûlée donut though Will definitely be coming back!

This bakery was becoming our favourite, really delicious food so we decided to order two Christmas hampers as gifts for family members. They were advertised with beautiful flat rectangular hamper boxes with clear windows so you can see all the goodies inside and tied up with Christmas ribbon. Drove all the way to pick them up on Christmas Eve afternoon only to be given them in two big ugly white cake boxes, no see through window or ribbon. I questioned why they were packed like this and apparently they had run out of the nice boxes. No consideration to call or msg to give me a heads up, just assumed that I’ll be ok with it. With such disappointment I decided not to take them as it didn’t have the same appeal and wasn’t prepared to pay $70 each for them. Instead of an apology the owner looked disappointed and just said “well it’s all there”! That’s not the point! Because of their lack of consideration, I was left with no gifts to give. Msg them expressing my disappointment, no response. Not a nice thing to do to a regular customer on Christmas, you should be ashamed!

Great bakery in UFTG! Great croissants. Loved the hazelnut and the almond ones for those with a sweet tooth! And very budget friendly!

I've been keen to try it out when I've been passing through the area and finally had the chance to drop in today.
Pies and pastries are top notch. Service was attentive and friendly for a very busy Sunday. Would definitely drop in again when I'm in the area.

I had the pleasure of visiting Quarry Bakehouse over the weekend, and I was instantly charmed by this lovely small cafe. Though the seating inside and outside is somewhat limited, the cozy ambiance more than makes up for it, making it a perfect spot to take a break and indulge. The café offers a variety of both hot and cold food options, ensuring there's something for everyone. But what truly caught my eye was their beautiful selection of desserts. Each pastry seemed like a piece of art, almost too pretty to eat—almost. The staff were lovely too. Whether you're in need of a satisfying bite or just craving something sweet to reward you from your 1000 steps challenge (not too far down the road), Quarry Bakehouse has you covered for sure. I can't wait for my next visit to try the sausage roll (the customer in front of us ordered all of them - just missed out)

Best bakery in the foothills! Progressively working my way through the entire cabinet of baked goods. Got a bit of work to do!

Divine food. Quick friendly service. And the best barista. Perfect coffee. I think her name was Cherie. A lovely mature lady. Definitely will go there again.

We love this little bakehouse! We have been visiting weekly and the staff are so friendly and food is amazing. Prices are very reasonable and there are always different options.

Excellent bakery! We just moved to the area and are very grateful that this is our local bakery! Their sourdough bread is always excellent but you need to get in early because they sell out the croissants are also delicious. Looking forward to trying some other things too!

We always go past this strip of shops and finally stopped by this bakery for a quick bite to eat and a coffee. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the delicious pastries we had. We had pain au chocolat which was crispy on the outside and soft and pillowy on the inside - just as they should be. We also had an almond croissant which was delicious. The coffees were more than adequate for a bakehouse. The cappuccino I had was one of the best I’ve had for ages - and I drink a lot of them. Will definitely be back to try the other food soon.

Best croissants, vanilla slice and almond croissant to die for! Super friendly staff, Sarah rocks! Top bakery! Highly recommend! Can’t go wrong with ordering anything!

Lovely little cafe, staff are friendly and food is tasty. A few vegan options on the menu - we really like the foccacia, and the burger was nice too. Hopefully some more vegan options in future!

A hidden gem in the foothills of Dandenong ranges. Exceptional good quality with great service. Will come back for more for sure!

Honestly really surprised when I read some of the reviews if I'm honest. My peppered beef pie was elite, literally one of the best I've had in Melbourne. No sign of overbaked goodies when I visited and I was really surprised to see such a selection of vienoisserie, boulangerie and patisserie options at this little bakery. If you're heading to the 1,000 steps, I'd load up with some calories here before your walk. I checked a few bakeries from Belgrave to Ferntree Gully and this was the best. Staff were kind, seems to be a popular space. Thanks for such a tasty pies, I'll be back.
